Model Answer 1

Name of the movie

On a scale of 1 to 10, the most recent movie I saw received a 3.7 rating. By itself, that expresses how I would have felt about the same thing. I will discuss a film that I didn't like today. Vicky Kaushal starred in the motion picture titled "Bhoot." Thanks in large part to the lead actor, I was incredibly eager to see the film. An excellent actor, Vicky Kaushal. Each on-screen character comes to life thanks to him. I assumed this would be the best pairing possible because horror is my favourite genre and my favourite star was in that horror movie.

Why didn’t you enjoy the movie?

To see the movie, I scheduled the time and date. Watching this movie made me very happy. The cinematography started to make me disinterested as soon as I started watching the movie over the weekend. All of the scenes were shot in the dark. Even seeing what was on the screen at one point was challenging. My laptop's screen literally needed tweaking since I thought it might be broken. There was nothing for the audience to gain from the tale, which was weak. It was an ordinary horror film where the main character starts looking into the possibility of a living girl being aboard a ship. Overall, the film's reliance on jump scares made it more cringe-inducing than entertaining.

What impact does the movie have on you?

I wasn’t expecting such a bad movie that could star Vicky Kaushal. After watching that movie, it took me a whole day to recover from the unpleasant feeling. It was later that I checked the reviews and found out the movie had low reviews. If I had known it before, I would have considered not watching it. The movie restores my faith in the fact that if the script and execution are weak, not even good actors can save it from sinking.

Model Answer 2

Name the movie

I've seen a lot of films. "Fog" was one of these motion pictures. The film had a 3.7 rating on IMDb, but I still gave it a shot because I believed that movies are frequently open to interpretation. I realised there was no story to even attempt to decipher after watching the movie for hours. The lack of suspense, tension, anxiety, or any element of terror in the film led me to wonder about its genre. Even though it was designed to fit into the horror genre, it didn't really belong there.

Why didn’t you enjoy the movie?

The main characters of the novel are Nick and Elizabeth, who learn that several sailors' spirits have entered their town in search of retribution. The film doesn't give much, and neither do the characters, who are shallow. For an hour, nothing much happens at all. There are only jumpscares to be found. After the film was completed, I looked up the release date and discovered that it had been released in 2005. That was perhaps the reason the film tried to depend so heavily on the jump scare scenes in the absence of a clear narrative. While watching, I had the impression that they had forgotten to mention that it was a remake of an 80s film.

What impact did the movie have on you?

After watching the movie, I felt it didn’t impact me in any way and was easily forgettable. However, I regretted spending time on the movie. The movie is available on Amazon Prime and I watched it only as I had a lot of time to idle away. I would never suggest anyone watch it. I am now a firm believer that before watching any movie check the reviews else you will end up wasting hours of your life which you will never get back.

Model Answer 3

Name the movie

I recently watched the movie "Sounds Like Love" on Netflix. I was unable to watch it all at once since it was so depressing. I'm going to discuss the same topic today. The film was intended to be a romantic comedy. When I watched the trailer, I had that in mind. But all it ended up being was cringe. The main character of the story, Maca, is at a turning moment in his or her career. She runs across her mysterious ex at that point, who broke her heart and eventually tries to get back into her life.

Why didn’t you like the Movie?

The rest of the movie is just a stretch of how Maca is outwitted by her ex and how she eventually lets go of him after asking for help from her friends. It was basically about a girl who was so fixated on her boyfriend that she couldn't let go of him even though he moved on. There was nothing romantic about it. The movie wasn't hilarious or enjoyable. I watched the entire film with a blank expression on my face, without laughing or in any way feeling a connection to any of the characters. What a waste of time that was. I was much more irritated with the English dubbing in the film.

What impact did the movie have on you?

Somehow I feel the dubbed movies already disconnect me and the characters lip-synching doesn’t even match with the dialogues, so that becomes a big turn off for me. I feel expressions help characters convey more feelings but when the movie is dubbed, the lip movements don’t go with the expression and look extremely unreal. After watching that movie, I took a break from watching any kind of movie for a long time. I now choose movies based on reviews instead of simply watching trailers.
