What decision it was?
I have never always made the right choices in various facets of my life. However, I have always remained stern while choosing a career. I never had any specific plans, but I always made sure to choose a topic that interests me. I had always tended to like concepts and decisions in life that were both cozy and, in some cases, difficult. But that is how I came to the conclusion that in order to seize possibilities, I must fly. And I chose to leave my family behind in Hyderabad in order to relocate for the job I so desperately wanted.
What difficulties you faced?
I had to decide on this around four years ago. I was presented with a new job opportunity, and I had to decide whether to move to a different region of the country. I couldn't decide if I should move away from my family because I felt so unsure. Moving away from my childhood pals was difficult for me, and the idea of meeting new people outside of my old circle of friends frightened me. Additionally, I had trouble locating a place to live if I moved to Mumbai.
How you made the decision?
The most loved and pampered child in my family is me. I have never spent even a single day apart from my family. So, having to say goodbye to everyone and begin a new chapter in my life was quite difficult for me. I was self-employed for quite a while, but with the economic slump, I was unable to find enough employment to pay my bills. Then I submitted an application for a job, which was accepted, although it was in a different city.
Explain why it was a difficult decision?
I had little knowledge of the city. Mumbai is known as the "city of dreams," therefore I was confident that coming here would help me realize my aspirations. I was unsure whether I should leave my family and friends behind to begin a new life in Mumbai in order to pursue a promising job. Or should I remain in my lovely home and comfortable surroundings? I'm hoping there will be more work in the future. I reached a decision after carefully weighing the decision's advantages and disadvantages. I chose to accept the position and move. And as soon as I arrived in Mumbai, I was amazed by the place. I quickly felt at home there and began to enjoy my time there after just three weeks.

What decision it was?
In order to grow as a person, we need to allow ourselves to take all the opportunities that come our way. However, it is not always an easy decision but we need to adapt and adjust our life strategies with the demand of time. I would like to talk about an incident that happened 2 years ago when I was working at MNC and was earning a handsome salary. I have always wanted to go abroad for further studies. But when I got this opportunity to work at MNC I couldn’t resist and dropped the idea of further studies for a while.
What difficulties you faced?
But after giving 3 years of my life to this job I was seeking some growth. And for me, the only way to grow is to educate yourself further for better opportunities. When you have a dream job and a good income it is really difficult to give up everything. I was so confused and scared at the same time. Leaving home and staying all on my own was a huge decision. I would have no one for help nor will I have enough home-cooked meals by my mother which were all definitely things which turned out to be platonic.
How you made the decision?
I was afraid that if I leave this job I wouldn’t get a job like this ever and what if I will be making the mistake of leaving this job that is a dream of many. I talked to my close ones about my confusion. I believed in myself. This was my biggest dream. However, studiying abroad was one of the first dreams that I ever had and I wanted to not leave the opportunity. I knew I had to return back to studies and a student life again but I was ready to do so. I was even encouraged by my friends and eventually I made the decision to resign my job and study abroad.
Explain why it was a difficult decision?
They all told me that I should believe in myself and pursue my long dream of going abroad to study. I knew that I had to take this step and leave the job. I was very scared when I resigned. I finally made up my mind to seize the opportunity to go abroad to study.

What decision it was?
There comes a point in life when we all have to make a difficult decision. The hardest part of growing up is to make decisions on your own. Whenever I face issues while making decisions I prefer to talk to my parents as they are the best guides. One decision that I struggled with was about which course to pursue in college.
What difficulties you faced?
My parents advised me to opt for BE in computer science but I was not at all interested in coding and the technicality of this course.I researched a lot of courses and got to know about the variety of other courses that I never heard of. Then I got more confused. I was unable to find suitable choice which made me interested and I got highly disappointed with the choices that I had in front of me.
How you made the decision?
One course that grabbed my attention was event management. I really like managing things and whenever there is a birthday or a small part I organize everything. So I got really curious to know more about this course. And when I learned about the syllabus I was sure that this is what I want to pursue. I am extremly an outgoing person and love how people plan and induce themselves to arrange parties and different kinds of events that made me interested in the career choice.
Explain why it was a difficult decision?
When I went to my parents to talk about this course they were not really happy. They suggested opting for something that provides me career security. Although event management has numerous options to create a successful career it does require a lot of struggle to establish in this field. My parents did not agree as they wanted me to pursue something that provides me with a stable job. In the end, I had to take the most difficult decision to pursue BE. But I am glad that I made this decision because now I really enjoy studying BE.
