Model Answer 1

What does it do?

In my hometown, there are numerous job opportunities. People can start their own businesses, whether they are large or small. Because of their qualifications and skills, they can even find work in a variety of firms that are looking for new employees. TCS is a company in my hometown that is actively hiring. TCS is a large multinational service provider. TCS is well-known for securing the majority of government projects and for having the most efficient workforce.

How many people does it employ?

Every year, TCS hires a massive workforce from all over the world, not just India. People want to work for TCS because of its unique clients, salary packages, and other benefits. Another factor that draws people to the company is its work culture. TCS's work culture encourages employers to balance their professional and personal lives.

What kind of people work there?

Being a service-based company the employers in TCS include software developers, testers, data analysts, business analysts and so on.TCS was hiring contractors at the time because it had taken on a government project in my hometown. Many people in my hometown got jobs as a result of this work policy, especially during the pandemic, when thousands of people lost their jobs.

How do you feel about it?

To be honest, I am both proud and relieved that IT firms such as TCS are taking on government projects in my small town. This helps many unemployed people find work during times of crisis. In fact, I am looking forward to many such IT-related companies taking on projects in my hometown. It is an excellent example of government work moving toward digitization, which will benefit many in-service employees at government offices.

Model Answer 2

What does it do?

Living in a hill station there are not many companies that hire employees in bulk. The majority of my hometown's residents frequently relocate to cities to work in corporations. However, the situation has completely changed in the last two years. This is due to the establishment of a solar panel manufacturing and sales company in my hometown about two years ago. Solarace is the name of the company. It was the first company to be established in my hometown, changing the employment landscape in the area.

How many people does it employ?

In just two years, the company has hired over 1000 people. The company began with 20 employees and has since grown to approximately 3000. In two years, the company has grown tremendously, particularly in terms of the number of hires. It has hired a large number of people while maintaining diversity. Some employees were hired on a regular basis, while others were hired on a contract basis.

What kind of people work there?

The company does not differentiate between age groups because it is a manufacturing company. Solarace hired people of all ages, from 20-year-olds to 55-year-old retirees. When it comes to employee recruitment, the company goes above and beyond the norm. The company is more concerned with the person's skill set than with his or her qualifications. Furthermore, the company values people from diverse backgrounds equally.

How do you feel about it?

The organisation is an inspiration to me because of its work ethics, which treat people from all backgrounds equally. Not to mention that Solarace has carved out a niche for itself by focusing on environmental improvement. There is no denying that our environment has become polluted as a result of the use of gasoline and diesel. The company is also committed to ongoing research and development in the field of solar energy. Their dedication and hard work on solar energy has reduced my town's power consumption by nearly 20%. It may be a small number for the time being, but it is likely to grow in the future. Another factor that makes me proud and happy.

Model Answer 3

What does it do?

Despite the fact that there are many businesses in my city, one in particular has piqued my interest. It was a local crafts decor company. This company has carved out a niche in its industry. The company was founded in 2011 as a government initiative. It had a humble beginning, but with discipline and determination, it quickly rose to the pinnacle of success.

How many people does it employ?

The company initially had just 50 employees but today it has a workforce of approximately 1000 employees. Initially, all employees of the company were on the company's payroll. As the company succeeded the company started hiring employees on contractual basis.

What kind of people work there?

As a decor company, it employs people of all ages. Furthermore, because the company primarily focuses on the decoration of specific events and homes, the company has reached out to many local artisans for their unique artefacts. The company hires and encourages young and creative minds to think outside the box and come up with new decorating ideas. Veteran employees, on the other hand, contribute to the company's image by virtue of their experience in their field.

How do you feel about it?

I am extremely proud and grateful that the government has established such an initiative. It not only increases the decor requirements at reasonable prices, but it also encourages local artists to showcase their talent. The company frequently uses the artefacts of these local artists in home decorating or when special event decorations are required. It is the ideal venue for local artisans to showcase their talents and earn the deserved respect and rewards for their efforts. Startups like this benefit the youth in my city by gradually increasing the city's employment rate. My city's youth are not only working full-time but also getting internships in the company. It has thus, given the youngsters a platform to opt for creative fields rather than the conventional ones like engineering or medicine. I am extremely elated with this initiative started by the government.
