What it is famous for?

This city is popularly called ‘The whistle city’ for obvious reasons. This language is euphonious, each word sounds like the chirping of birds. This place is located on a hill slope, and owing to forest and less plain areas the houses are not too compact. Hence, communicating before the era of technology was challenging as one has to shout as loud as one could so that it becomes audible to the person situated a few kilometers apart, from the hilltop. So, the ancient natives of Kuskoy or the whistle city invented their own unique language, the language of birds.

How you knew this city?

Now in the era of whatsapp and mobile phones has threatened the existence of this beautiful language. To preserve the language the natives have also developed an app to teach children the language and to preserve this heritage. The Turkish government is also putting efforts to preserve this language by promoting this language of whistle in the schools so that endangered language does not lose its value.

Explain why you think it is very interesting?

Undoubtedly Kuskoy has attracted many tourists and native accord the travelers cordially and yet has managed to conserve their inherited language till today. I am not blessed with an opportunity, yet, to visit this place but videos and articles about the city on the Internet have fascinated me a lot, counting days to visit it.

The beaches and coasts of this city are well-known. In addition, Bollywood is located here, making this the metropolis of glamour and glitz with residents who work in the film business.

How you knew this city?

I frequently visit this city because my family live here and I have been numerous times for work-related reasons. I like the cuisine and the local street market. Everything is offered, ranging in price from the most expensive to the most affordable.

I see a great future here, thus I would dearly want to relocate here for my professional chances. I'm drawn to this place like a magnet because of the residents' sense of civic pride.

Egypt is most famous for the Egyptian pyramids, ancient pyramids which are shaped masonry structures. They are some of the most appreciable man made structures in history. Their humongous height reflects the importance that the king or pharaoh played in ancient Egyptian society. There are approximately 118 or 138 identified Egyptian pyramids. The Great Sphinx of Giza scales 240 feet long and 66 feet height. The sculpture demonstrates a lion’s body and a human head crowned with a royal headdress. It is confirmed that a single piece of limestone was carved to create this wonderful sculpture. There is some left over pigment residue suggesting that the Sphinx was painted.

One of the most interesting fun facts about the Great Pyramid of Giza is that it’s the oldest and last remaining of the original Seven Wonders of the World. This pyramid is also the most ancient and undoubtedly the largest of the nine at the Giza Necropolis, and according to the history textbooks it is the final resting place of King Khufu. The pyramid was completed in 2560 BC and this beautiful human architecture took around 20 years to build. The pyramids in Egypt (not to mention the many other statues, museums, and historic sites) are one of the most important fascinating excuse travelers’ dream of visiting Egypt.
