Where is the city?

Jaipur really sticks with me. It’s the capital of Rajasthan, out in northwestern India, and people call it the “Pink City” because so many of the buildings glow with this warm, pink color. It’s not just a nickname—the place is actually pink.

How did you know the city?

"I first came across Jaipur through faded history books and those travel shows you watch when you’re feeling a slice of adventure. They dug into its royal history and showed off its crazy architecture. Yet nothing could’ve prepared me for what it’s like to be there in person." Everything seemed like a mere image when I finally got a chance to visit Jaipur with my family.

What buildings does the city have?

Walking around, you can’t miss the city’s Rajput architecture. The Hawa Mahal jumps out first with its crazy honeycomb windows—you’ve probably seen a photo of it even if you don’t realize. Then there’s the City Palace, which isn’t just a museum; the royal family still lives there. If you head up the hill, Amer Fort looks over everything, all golden stone and sweeping views. Temples, old markets, even the hotels—they all have this old-world charm that makes Jaipur feel like a piece of history you can actually touch.

What is it famous for?

There is more to Jaipur than its architecture: the festivals, the food, and bustling markets filled with gemstones, embroidered fabrics, and pottery, and a hoard of handmade jewelry, not forgetting the color- endless colors on the streets, in the outfits, in the dishes. People travel from far and wide just to soak up the vibe, shop, and sample the local flavors.

What really appeals to me about Jaipur is that it has this life burgeoning within it. The city hums-histories mingling with the cacophony of today, a blend of old and new, tradition and change. The colors, the palaces, the constant buzz-everything converges to make Jaipur unforgettable. It's not just something nice to see; it seeps into you in the best possible way.

Paris. Even just saying the name feels a little bit magical. I've admired this city for as long as I can remember. It’s the capital of France, tucked away in Western Europe, but honestly, it feels like its own world. People call it the “City of Love” and the “City of Lights.” Both fit. Paris just has this elegance, this charm, that makes it stand out from anywhere else.

My obsession started with books and movies—so many stories set in Paris, so many artists and characters wandering its streets. That pulled me in. Then I started seeing photos and travel shows. Each time, my curiosity grew. I still haven’t made it there myself, but I feel like I know it anyway.

When you think of Paris, your mind immediately turns to the Eiffel Tower—and it should. But there is not much of this beautiful city that is not amazing in its own right. Then, of course, there are the works of art at The Louvre that everyone dreams of getting to see in real life. There is the beautiful cathedral of Notre-Dame, with its gothic arches, that looks straight out of a storybook (though it did come out of it, literally)—not to mention the bridges, of course.

However, Paris is more than just its attractions. It’s a living and breathing center of art, fashion, and cuisine. Cafes extend out into the street, bakeries waft aromas of hot bread through the air, and museums seem to spring up around every corner. People come to Paris from all over just to get a taste of it all.

What really gets me about Paris is its spirit. There’s a story in every building and on every street. It’s the kind of place that makes you believe in beauty—not just the kind you see, but the kind you feel. Paris sticks with you, even if you’ve only visited it in your imagination.

Singapore is easily one of the most stunning cities I’ve come across. It’s tiny—just an island city-state in Southeast Asia—but somehow, it’s managed to make a name for itself around the world. People talk about how clean it is, how everything works so smoothly, and how the city manages to weave nature right into its modern skyline.

The first time I really heard about Singapore, it was just little stories in the news or travel blogs describing it as some kind of urban wonder. Those pictures and videos of the city’s skyline, all those green parks tucked between glass towers? That’s when I started to get hooked.

The mix of old and new hits you right away. You’ve got those jaw-dropping skyscrapers around Marina Bay, the famous Marina Bay Sands hotel with its wild rooftop, and of course, the Merlion statue everyone takes photos with. Gardens by the Bay is something else entirely—those glowing Supertrees look like they stepped out of a sci-fi movie.

Hawker centers are everywhere, and you can taste food from just about every culture. Plus, the place is spotless and feels safe, even late at night.

The result is one of balance: modern architecture, ethnic cultures, and environmental dedication. This is what makes Singapore so beautiful—much more than just its looks, but what it does as a successful functioning city that urges you onward and upward.
