When People Move to Another Country Some of Them Decide to Follow the Customs of the New Country IELTS Writing Task 2

If one is from a country with sturdy and old traditions, I believe it'll be rather tough for him to adapt to the new customs and furthermore to reject his own. However, adopting to the customs and traditions of the new country might have its own merits. It literally becomes possible to adapt to the social environment. It helps people ensure that they respect the new country’s traditions. Some people although feel that it means rejection of their own customers. I however, feel that adapting with the new cultures and customs definitely does not mean rejecting one’s own. It is simply being respectful towards others’ cultures while maintaining the respect of their own. Probably, the foremost difficult part of his relocation will be to habituate to the new climate. I think that individuals of the new country are friendlier once they see that foreigners follow their customs. I believe that the traditions of each and every country deserves to be respected, by every individual especially when one lives there. Lack of respcting and abiding by the customs of another country might result in difficulty in living in that country. To conclude, I believe that each country has its own beauty and if one desires to find out additional regarding it he can adore it.

In a country like India where there are innumerable languages spoken, there's a necessity for official languages to ensure communication between totally different sections of the population and also the different states. In China, where totally different dialects are spoken, Mandarin, the official language, permits individuals from totally different provinces to understand one another. Secondly, in an age of rampant globalisation there's no doubt that an international language is a certainty. How is an African business person about to conduct business in China when there are such variations between languages? In this sense, not only is an international language inevitable, however conjointly a necessity for trade, commerce and economic growth in the twenty-first century. Effectively, it may be identified that cultures and traditions are an essential part of any country. Different countries follow different customers and people immigrating to a different land need to be aware and respectful of the same. It is obvious that when a person from a different country moves to another country, people become aware of their differences. However, in order to ensure that they respect their customs as well as their identity, it is essential that the immigrants respect the international traditions. This is the only way to adapt and adjust to the foreign conditions and thereby creating ways of socialisation. Certainly, in my opinion, with regard to one’s own culture, I feel that adaptation to another culture is a way through which cultural interaction could be made possible and hence, is a positive way of living life. 

Being the second highest populated country, India has two official languages while others are spoken regionally. It signifies that despite having one language, other customs and culture coexist in the country. However, in China totally different dialects are spoken, like Mandarin, which is the official language, but also permits individuals from totally different provinces to understand one another. Secondly, having an international language is necessary in the lieu of a globalised world where communication is the key. In this sense, an international language’s prevalence is a necessity for trade, commerce and economic growth of different countries. The opposing views of the statement argue that it would cause a loss of cultural identity with only one basic language. However, the prevalence of one international official language would not imply a ban on native languages. It would simply set out a way of communicating with different linguistic regions conveniently. English is employed in specific contexts like (trade, business, etc.) and native languages are used for everyday instruction. Accordingly, in order to facilitate communication, it is necessary to have one international language common to all. This would certainly not imply dying out of cultural language and identity.
