Many global nations are facing stiff challenges to provide the basic and essential services to its citizens. Addressing the basic needs such as provision of water for daily needs and housing, electricity, and other basic amenities, these challenges are impacting the environment. This essay aims at highlighting several factors involved in these issues and how it can be overcome. There is an increased challenge that is being faced by individuals associated with environmental degradation. This degradation has existed since the first industrial revolution, however, it is being used extensively in today’s era. It is needless to mention that, ten years down the line, there will be a situation that will make it worse for an individual's survival. Additionally, we are witnessing an increased rate of deforestation that is being carried out by humans in order to obtain land and wood, which harms the local diversity. Nevertheless, there has been increased use of plastic that has entered our environment, and further greenhouse gas emissions have escalated to increase further that has contributed to global warming. On the other hand, it is being reported that the world is running out of space to accommodate individuals in the future. There are numerous solutions to these challenges. However, with people coming together, solving these issues becomes more efficient and manageable. For example, the Great Pacific Garbage patch is attempted to be cleaned. Another example can be quoted from the story of Tulsi Gowda, an Indian who accomplished planting of over thirty thousand plant saplings over a timeline of several decades. Relevant activities are being witnessed by individuals all over the globe with groups of people rescuing flora and fauna of their land.
