Computers Can Translate All Kinds Of Languages. Hence Children Will Not Have To Learn Languages IELTS Writing Task 2 consists of three sample answers provided below. The task requires the candidates to provide a tentative and argumentative answer for the question. The sample answers comprises two parts: Introduction and body. The introduction is a brief description about the topic. The body contains argumentative statements and tentative answers to support the test-taker's perspective. Technology has changed our lives drastically. Technology advancements have allowed humans to talk with people of different languages. According to many people's point of view there is no more need to learn languages. In my viewpoint, it will result in an over dependence on technology. I totally disagree with the statement. The below presented arguments will prove my point.
Lack of understanding will be created among people due to language translation. Many translations can lead to different meanings. Also, we might get the pronunciation wrong which might lead to misunderstanding. There are many words that sound similar in different languages. One can not pronounce the same word in different languages. Also, not all the time we can translate everything. Something's have to be spoken at the moment.
Personal growth gets affected by the over dependence on computers. Exposing children with the technology will improve their personal skills and the stagnant. They will not be able to learn anything. They will try to do everything with the technology. The mental growth becomes stagnant. It might affect their intellectual abilities.
Not every time a person can use technology. Technology is for emergency needs. It can not replace the skills that are compulsory to learn. We can not replace the daily tasks with technological tasks.
The growth of the child should be kept in the real world. Technology must not be interfered with and included into the childhood age. The main languages can be learnt. While the other normal languages which are used less can be translated through computers. But the languages which are commonly spoken must be learned.
To conclude, technology is reaching far its height. It has made many people come together. It has removed the language barrier. There are many languages which can be easily translated through computers. But dependence on technology will result in stagnant growth. Languages must be learnt. There should not be over usage of technology. Also, we can't carry computers everywhere.

Due to technological advancements, the 21st century is called the machine century. There are innumerable tasks a computer can perform. From translation, calculation, recording etc there are many tasks. Many people are of the opinion that children do not need to learn languages. They can translate every language from computers. I disagree from the viewpoint. The following statements are presented to disagree with the viewpoint.
Human power is saved due to the work computers do. They can do it within seconds. The most amazing feature of the computer is that it can translate the language of any region within seconds. It has made our work easier. Because we no longer have to learn or understand the language. We can simply translate language. Such features are very useful for travelers. Also, for the students who have to go to study abroad. They don't have sufficient time to learn a particular language.
However, it will lead to dependency on the computers. It will decrease the linguistic abilities and skills. One will no longer feel the need to learn a particular language. They will become lethargic. They will stop growing as a personality. They will get over dependent. Also, the children might get addicted to getting help from technology in every means. They will try to avoid their physical work or mental work. This will cause an effect on overall development. This will also affect the future development.
In conclusion, there might be new technologies coming up. They are also time saving and energy saving. But also they are controlling the human mind and brains; it will result in stagnant future development. New techniques must be adopted but also old civilisation should be kept alive. The modern youth is getting involved in technologies upto a certain extent that they are unable to remember the old ways. Languages should be learnt. Because one can not translate everytime. Also, the formal informal way of saying gets mixed up using translators.

There are many students and people who don't consider learning a language. They are involved and dependent on technologies. They think there is no need to learn any language when you have a computer. I totally agree with this viewpoint. There is no need to learn different languages when one can translate them easily using computers. There is so much time consumed to learn a particular language. There is so much sophistication caused due to learning languages.
In today's world where no one has time, it is difficult to learn languages. Also, it is a difficult task to find the exact tutor for the language. One can translate any language using smartphones or computers. Also, with practice one can learn them through computers. They can easily carry smartphones everywhere. Also, it would help them to easily communicate with anyone. It is more beneficial for the traveler. Travelers tend to travel all over the country. So it is almost impossible for them to learn every language. Also, students who travel abroad for study. It becomes difficult for them to learn a language in a short time. So, it's best for them to use a translator. We can say that computers have brought together many people of different languages and cultures. There are many types of features. The formal and informal language is also offered. Also, it offers translation of one language to another. One does not have to do hard work to learn a particular language.
To conclude, computers have eased our work. It is easy to use. We can translate any language anywhere in the world. Also, it provides pronunciation. It will help us to pronounce it better. There are many features offered. For example, one can also translate whole sentences and turn on pronunciation. We don't have to speak it ourselves.
