Compulsory Community Service for High School Students IELTS Writing Task 2 consists of three sample answers provided below. Unpaid community services like working for charity and helping elders. These services are important to maintain humanity in this world. Some people believe that unpaid community services should be a part of high school. I totally agree with this viewpoint. Education is not only to teach science and maths. Education should include all aspects of life. It should cover real life activities and knowledge. Including such services will not only create a better youth. But also add the feelings of sympathy and empathy in them. Youth is considered to be the development unit of every country. Development should be followed in every part of life. It should not be limited to science and technology.
Unpaid services like working for elders and helping them should be made compulsory. It will create a modern world with modern thinking and perspective. Elders will also get emotional support due to such programmes. Teaching younger children for free should also be included. Students of higher classes can teach lower classes. Especially teaching students who can not afford studies. They have the right to education as well. But due to lack of financial aid they are unable to get equal education. They must be provided such values and morals to create a happy and safe world.
People are commonly heard saying that humanity doesn't exist. It is our own mistake to vanish humanity. But humanity can be regained by such programmes. It will not only create a better society but will help in the development of the country. Children should be included in unpaid community services. It will make them a better person by the time they start their future career. It will add to their personality.
To conclude, community services should be included in high school. It should be made compulsory like other subjects. There should be a proper time or day for such activities. Participating in an NGO would be a great alternative as well.

Education is considered important for the development of a country. However, education should not be limited to a few parts. Education nowadays is considered to teach subjects like maths or science. But some people believe that unpaid community services should be included in education. I completely and strongly agree with the viewpoint.
Unpaid community services are not just beneficial for the community. But it also creates a sense of giving in children. There should be no expectation of return when it comes to Welfare. Children should be taught to give without expecting anything in return. Unpaid community services like teaching children for free also contribute to providing education. There are many orphanages located in every city or state. School children should be made to visit such orphanages. They will learn to co-operate and co-exist with them as well. It will help in their cognitive and emotional development. They will feel grateful for the facilities they have. They will have a sense of humanity in them. It will overall contribute in forming a better society and community. Participating in NGO like planting trees will help in afforestation.
Take examples of countries abroad, like the USA, Australia etc. There students are taught to participate in unpaid internships. It helps them to grow at an intellectual level. They learn to contribute to the welfare of society. Helping elders on streets and in elder caring centres. Such activities make them sympathetic towards oher.
To conclude, it will be a good step towards humanity and welfare. It will create a safe place for everyone. Modern age must bring with them good values. Schools are considered hubs of education.
