Collocations for IELTS- ‘Activity’

The word ‘activity’ can be used in word combinations in several ways. The collocations can be understood better if they are divided based on the parts of speech like noun, noun+adjective, verb, phrases etc. Let us learn and understand the different collocations which can be used with the word ‘chance’ below. There are two different classifications of using the word ‘activity’: the event of something happening and as something one does to achieve an aim.

i) Meaning: criminal, illegal, illicit, illegitimate, felonious, fraudulent

ii) Meaning: economic, profitable, remunerative, fruitful, productive
