According to many psychologists, it's better to be a friend to your kids than a parent when they're teenagers. Making children grasp the good and bad is made much easier by giving them polite advice and suggestions. Children can be encouraged to read biographies of outstanding people starting at a young age so that their stories have a positive impact.
