Band 8 IELTS Answer

The line graph represents the changes in the share price of Outokumpu companies in euros between January 2006 and December 2010. From the overall perspective, we can see that the lowest share price went to 7 Euro and the highest was 32 Euro.

We can notice that the porice started from 12 Euro and rose to 17 Euro in 2006. The price then fell and then steadily increased to 22 Euro by the end of 2006. The price continued to increase and by the middle of 2007, it rose to 32 Euro. Then the graph started falling steadily. By the end of 2007, the share prices were around 23 Euro. The year 2008 started with 25 Euro as the price. Then it fell down to 20 Euro. It again rose to 30 Euro and then fell to 15 Euro. By the end of 2008, the prices were 16 Euro. The year 2008 noticed the most rise and fall among all the years. When we come to 2009 and 2010, we can see that the price was always at the lower range. For these two years, the prices did not exceed 20 Euro. At the start of 2009, the price was only 6 Euro. The price steadily increased to 15 Euro by the middle of 2009. The price then started falling steadily to 10 Euro by the end of 2009. The year 2010 started with 10 Euro and increased to 14 Euro. It remained constant for few times. Then it increased to 17 Euro by the middle of 2010. After this the price started falling and never increased. By the end of 2010, we can see that the price was 12 Euro. Hence, the price remained the same at the start and the end.

Band 7 IELTS Answer

The graph shows the data on how Outokumpu companies' share prices changed between January 2006 and December 2010. Overall, it can be observed that the price fluctuations were very frequent. Sometimes it reached above 30 Euro and sometimes it came down below 10 Euro.

In general, the graph demonstrates that the share price peaked around mid-2006 at around 30 euros. However, Outokumpu companies' share prices fell below 10 euros in 2008, the lowest level in the given time frame.

Regarding the share price of Outokumpu, it began around 13 euros at the beginning of the period and soared to 30 euros by the middle of 2006, its highest point during that time period.

By June 2007, the price had significantly decreased, reaching over 20 euros, before experiencing a dramatic increase of approximately 10 euros by the end of 2007. The share price dropped by nearly 25 euros at the beginning of 2008, reaching its lowest point of over 5 euros in roughly five months. After that, it gradually increased to 15 euros by the beginning of 2008, and after a few minor ups and downs, the stock price nearly reached the same level as it was at the beginning of the period in December 2006.

Band 6 IELTS Answer

The line graph shows how the price shares of Outokumpu companies behaved over a particular time period, beginning in 2006 and ending in 2010. The prices are mentioned in Euros. Over the course of the period, the changes on price shares as a whole displayed erratic behavior. Sometimes it was high as 32 Euro and sometimes it came down below 10 Euros.

Up until the middle of 2007, the shares went through a huge upswing before gradually falling in the months that followed. The price of the shares, however, returned to its previous level; witnessed rapid growth in 2008 before falling to its lowest rate. After 2008, Outokumpu's shares rose and fell slightly until the end of the period, when they reached roughly the same level as at the beginning.

In general, when compared to the initial rate, the percentage shares nearly exhibited the same result: 13 percent despite the wild fluctuations that occurred over the course of the five years. Notwithstanding, over the period the greatest point for the Outokumpu organizations was 31 and the base point was around 7%.
