Band 8 IELTS Answer

Between 2020 and 2035, the graph estimates the manufacturing quantities of cars in Japan, UK, US and China; it illustrates this data by showcasing them as hundreds of thousands. The current period's end will likely witness a significant decline in car production for Japan, the UK and the US. Contrarily, China projects an incremental increase in its own car manufacturing over this period. By 2035, US auto production is projected to decrease significantly from its current level of 300,000--an estimation that may seem substantial compared to the expected outcome: a mere few thousand units.

This trend is also expected to influence the UK, resulting in a substantial decline of car production. Japan declares its intent to ascend as the leading automaker, projecting a production of 350,000 units in 2020. Despite this ambitious goal, they foresee only mild increases until 2025; however--after that point--a significant decrease looms large on their forecasted productions: consequently resulting in an estimated annual output around 100,000 units.

A decrease is anticipated. Conversely, we anticipate a moderate increase in China's automobile production throughout the designated period. Estimates project a production of 100,000 units by 2020; this surpasses the output of the other three countries by approximately 4,444 units. Furthermore - an ambitious trend continues: it is expected that production will reach around 150,000 units in just fifteen years from now – by 2035 to be precise.

Band 7.5 IELTS Answer

Assuming a sharp decline in car production in the US, UK and Japan; the figures project an incremental increase–with steady consistency–within China. Published documents expect the UK and Japan to undergo a substantial decline from 2024-2035.

Respectively, the production numbers initiated at 200,000 and 300,000 units; however-- it is anticipated that they will decrease to less than 100,000 units. China's automobile production, commencing at 100,000 units and projected to escalate steadily; it is expected that by 2035--the numbers will surge further--this sector will generate a staggering output of approximately 150,000 units. From 2020 to 2025, Japan experienced relative stability in its figures; however, a sharp decrease is projected from 2025 until 2035. The above data clearly demonstrates: compared to other countries, China's automobile production is on the rise.

Band 7 IELTS Answer

The displayed line graph depicts the production quantity of cars in China, the UK, USA and Japan from 2020 to a projected percentage until 2035. We measure units in hundreds of thousands.

The production figures for cars in the USA and UK are projected to consistently decrease, while China is expected to demonstrate a steady increase over the entire period. Nevertheless, we anticipate fluctuations in Japan's manufactured car quantity. Moreover, estimates suggest that China will surpass all countries as the largest producer of automobiles during this timeframe.

The chart highlights an intriguing trend: in 2020, USA and UK recorded figures of 300 and 200 respectively. However, projections suggest a decline for both until they converge at 100 by the year 2030; further still--the quantity of cars produced in these two distinguished nations is expected to continue its descent below the century mark until as late as 2035. Consequently, this will position them as leaders when it comes to minimal automobile creation—a stark contrast indeed from previous years' statistics on global production volumes! In 2020, China recorded a production car figure starting at its lowest point of 100. The forecast predicts an increase to nearly 200 by 2035, potentially positioning China as the leading manufacturer with the highest number of cars produced by the end of this survey period.

Japan will experience a minor fluctuation in its car production. The highest milestone began at just over 300, and it is estimated that this figure will peak around 400 before dramatically dropping to 100 by the end of 2035.
