Car Trip Speaking Part 1 comprises eight questions with answers and vocabulary. In the above topic Car Trip candidates are asked a few questions such as – Do You Like to Travel by Car, When Do You Travel By Car, and more. To answer these questions, candidates need to be confident and fluent.

Topic: Car Trip Speaking Part 1

Question 1. Do You Like to Travel by Car?

Answer: Yes, I like to travel by car. A journey by car makes the journey easy and comfortable. I can travel as per my wish. I can pause in places I want, and take turns necessary to travel fast. Also traveling by car makes the journey commutable. During summer it saves us from the scorching heat. We can take cold drink breaks on our way.

Vocabulary:

  • Commutable- allowing regular commuting to and from work
  • Scorching- harsh or very hot

Question 2. When Do You Travel By Car?

Answer: I mostly prefer to travel by car all the time. If the journey takes many days, then I prefer a flight. Except for those, I travel to all the places by car. It makes my journey easy and convenient. I travel even shorter distances and longer distances by car. The car allows me to travel in air-conditioned surroundings and provides adequate protection from inclement weather.

Vocabulary:

  • Convenient- accommodating well with an individual’s needs, activities, and plans
  • Adequate- satisfactory or sufficient quality or quantity.
  • Inclement- unpleasantly cold or wet weather conditions

Question 3. Where is the Farthest Place You Have Traveled by Car?

Answer: I have traveled to many places in India by car. I remember traveling to Sikkim via car. We had a plan of booking train tickets. But unfortunately, we did not get the reservations. So at the last minute, we decided to go by car. The journey was smooth. We took numerous breaks. Also, we returned prior to our holidays.

Vocabulary:

  • Reservations- advance booking for train or flight tickets.
  • Numerous - uncountable number of times

Question 4. Do You Like to Sit in the Back or Front When Traveling by Car?

Answer: Well, I usually travel in my own car. So I am in the driver’s seat. Considering all the facts, I always prefer the front passenger seat while traveling. In case, I am traveling in my friend's car then I am sitting in the front seat. I see the various majestic views whenever I sit in the front seat. And if I am traveling in an uber then I am in the passenger’s seat.

  • majestic - wonderful views
