Topic: Some people believe charity organizations should only offer help to people of their own countries. Other claim that these organizations should give aid to people in great need wherever they live. Discuss both opinions and tell which side do you agree?

Model Answer 1

Nowadays, a lot of charitable foundations and humanitarian organisations think about how best to help their own country or the destitute elsewhere. Some people think that these organisations should just focus on the underprivileged sections of their own nation. But others, like me, think that they are accountable for and ought to assist all people, regardless of where they reside.
On one hand, those who think all forms of assistance must go to their own citizens have their own justifications. One of them is taxation on their people. Because their citizens pay taxes, they have priority over other countries. Charitable organisations would do better to assist low-income citizens with funds provided by their own citizens than by foreigners. The fact that this may have a favourable impact on the crime rate is another justification. The less crime the impoverished commit, the more financial support they receive. They are less driven to meet their basic requirements in dishonest methods, and citizens will live in safer neighbourhoods as a result. According to a local article published in a local magazine, the rate of armed robbery decreased significantly. In this case, as local charities deemed a remarkable budget for slum regions in Tehran.
On the other hand, I feel that these organisations should provide a similar level of assistance to all people living in other nations. We are all human, which is the first compelling argument. Help shouldn't this be directed towards any particular civilization or community. For instance, the organisations spent hundreds of dollars to address the Ebola virus issue. Because it threatened many poor Africans and spread throughout Africa in 2014. This dangerous illness was therefore controlled in less than six months.
Finally, even though some people may argue that the donation system should only help their country's poor residents. I believe that other countries should also receive aid. Because all people are created in the image of God and have an equal right to financial support. Additionally, this strategy can ease the financial strain on international organisations.

Model Answer 2

Some people hold the opinion that charitable organizations should help anyone living anywhere in the globe, and I agree with this. However, some people hold the opinion that charitable organisations should only help people living in the country to which they are affiliated. In the essay that follows, all views will be covered along with pertinent examples.
First of all, some people believe that charitable organizations should assist people wherever they are needed in the world. Because they were established with the intent of providing aid to those in need while remaining impartial towards their place of residence. Additionally, these businesses should be accessible and reachable via all available channels, including the internet, email, and in-person meetings. It is to enable anyone sitting anywhere to receive adequate support tailored to their needs. For instance, a friend of mine wanted to see if there were any openings at an old age home in the United States. Since the facility has an internet page, he was able to simply get his question answered.
On the other hand, few believe that charities should only serve the citizens of their nation because they are supported and aided by their citizens. As a result, they believe that draining resources and providing assistance to foreigners can rob their own citizens of the necessary facilitation. Furthermore, a sizable amount of government funding could benefit many people in the same nation. It may be required in order to meet the needs of the people who live abroad. For example, the cost of sending a lung machine from India to Japan may benefit 20 patients in India.
In a nutshell, the goal of a charitable organization should be to help people without taking into account where they live. Because they should work on the principle of serving humanity and giving those in need a helping hand.

Model Answer 3

There has been a clear increase in the distribution of charity to those in need during the last few years. While the majority of individuals support giving charitable donations to everyone, regardless of where the provider is located. Others think local inhabitants should be given preference by charitable foundations. This essay will go over both defences of the latter position and my arguments in favour of them.
A philanthropic organisation typically receives contributions from a large number of donors. As a result, the value obtained outweighs the generosity given by the organisation. This imbalance can help the poor people in other nations where there aren't enough charitable organisations. For instance, the Melinda and Gates Foundation gives away 30% of its funds domestically and 70% overseas. This is due to the fact that people who reside outside of the United States have greater needs. Additionally, this practice draws attention to organisations around the world, which encourages greater international donations.
On the other hand, some nations have extremely few or no philanthropic organisations. Instead of assisting citizens of other nations, these organisations in those countries must meet the needs of their own citizens. As a result, there will be a decline in the ratio of rich to poor people, which may help the nation flourish. The poor and in need make up 70% of India's population, according to studies done by the Being Human organisation. In situations like this, organisations should help their own citizens rather than sending aid or donations to other nations.
In conclusion, giving to those in other nations is a sensible decision. However, in my opinion, charitable organisations should first assist those in their own nations. And when the needs of the poor of their nations are met, only then do they send money to those in other nations.
