Model Answer 1

In the current technologically equipped era one can find that people’s way of communication has seen a drastic change. Face to face conversations and writing letters manually and posting it has now been replaced with video call messages, texts, mails etc. using mobile phones. It has now been upgraded to smart phones and use of other applications provided by the internet. Most people are of the opinion that all these advancements are inevitable for the progress of science and technology. This in turn helps people in improving the standard of living. I am of the opinion that more than benefits it has paved the way for more adversities.

One cannot agree with the fact that technology acted as a boon in people’s social lives especially to maintain contact with people living abroad. This has in turn upgraded the quality of social life. The advent of technology has blurred the lines between countries and all are able to connect to each other under a single platform. It is not necessary for people to go to another country to meet their near and dear ones and applications like Skype made it even easier. Despite these positives technology has its own share of cons as well. Technology has widened its horizons and leveled the gap between people living in other countries. It has somehow paved the way for neglect and isolation of family members as people are so busy and are deeply engrossed in the virtual world. They really don't bother to spare some time for family and are always busy with their gadgets. People are too much into technology that they forget the surroundings and people around them nowadays. Thus, the warmth and belonging of face to face conversations and hearing out each other’s problems have vanished into the thin air. Everything is either too mechanized or formalized.

Model Answer 2

The current era has seen an exponential rise with respect to technology and the arrival of applications like Facebook, Skype etc. has accelerated it even more. It is an incentive for the society as people are unable to live without it as it has become an indispensable part of people’s lives. But in the long run it has serious repercussions that can affect people.

The advent of technology has brought in tremendous changes in the current scenario. Firstly people are able to be in touch with their near and dear ones whenever they wish to connect with them. They can also trace any missing number or people with the help of technology. Nowadays technology has acted as an incentive for conducting business level meetings. It reduces the cost of travel and people can connect to others within the comfort of their own house and have a hassle free working environment.

Apart from these utilities it has its own share of disadvantages that has cascading effects on interpersonal relationships of the people. The children of this technologically equipped era spend most of their time on social media. They have completely forgotten about their near and dear ones as everything is just limited to social media for them. The practice of reading books has been completely forgotten and is now being overtaken by eBooks. Apart from this children are losing emotional attachment with their family and surroundings. They are losing the depth of warmth that is no longer to be seen not just among the children but people as a whole. The poor older generation feels highly neglected and they crave for the attention of their children and family members. Technological advancements have slowly but steadily reduced the intensity of interpersonal relations and face to face communications.

One can say that even though the technological advancements paved way for many incentives in the long run it has several repercussions posing serious threat to familial bond and other personal relationships so it is vital not to overuse technology and strike a chord between family and work and not just get immersed into the virtual world and forget the reality.

Model Answer 3

Communication and technology has experienced rapid growth. People are able to connect to individuals all over the world within a single click. Everything available under the sun is easily available. Due to the advent of technology one can observe grave changes with respect to human relations that have its share of pros as well as cons. This essay will highlight the fact that the merits of technology have overthrown its demerits.

The most notable advantage of technology is the fact that it has improved the speed of communication. Majority of people can enjoy the benefits of technology especially the internet so quickly. Apart from this the use of mobile phones and other gadgets are user friendly and are widely used by all sections and age groups of people. Research conducted by the Ministry of Information and technology in India states more than 90 percent of people are interlinked to the outside world via whatsapp and telegram. Apart from this computers are a blessing for people who have zeal towards learning and students are the one reaping benefits out of it. Technology was indeed a blessing for them during the pandemic and has also given more exposure to the upgraded technology. YouTube is a prime example that’s been well utilized by students and other people. For students it is a learning platform while for common people it is a source of income.

In spite of these benefits technology has drastically reduced the face to face communications that had severe consequences on interpersonal relations. Nowadays everything has been about flaunting in front of the public by giving away all the minute details of one’s private life. Instagram is a prime example of that where people become so frenzy for attention and all the private moments are open to the public. The earlier close knit relationships and privacy have been long forgotten in this technologically driven world.

In a nutshell one can say technological revolution has created lot of uproar among the masses and its positive impacts outweighs its negative impacts
