Topic: Most artists earn low salaries and should therefore receive funding from the government in order for them to continue with their work. To what extent you agree?

Model Answer 1

People believe that the majority of artists around the globe earn comparatively low salaries. Thus, there is a necessity of provision of government funding in order to ensure that they continue with their interests and profession. However, I disagree with the statement mentioned above.
In my opinion, most of the talented artists are fetching a good amount of salary from their respective industries. An accomplished life with ample fame and wealth is possible for talented and industrious artists in any sector of the arts. More particular, artists, writers, musicians, and dancers receive fair compensation for their work. Good painters command high prices for their works of art. The general population is aware that performers and dancers live extremely opulent lives. These artists do not at all require government financing. In comparison to many other members of society, the majority of artists live decent lives. To put it another way, there are a lot of groups of people who are really underprivileged and who truly require assistance from the government. This is needed in order to achieve their basic necessities, including food, clothing, and education. For instance, a large number of people lack a decent place to live. Low pay is received by construction and road workers. Males who are ill and unable to work might be found in many families. Therefore, the government should assist and support these less fortunate groups in society.
The fact that most artists have some type of postsecondary education serves as another justification for not providing financial aid to them. So they can work at another job to complement their income if they are unable to make as much money as they would like.
In conclusion, artists are making enough money and do not require government assistance. I vehemently disagree with the assertion as a result.

Model Answer 2

It is suggested that because artists rarely receive a salary for their work, the government ought to assist them in covering their costs. In this essay, I will provide all sides' arguments and support tenable conclusions. Despite the fact that some people believe they should not receive financial assistance from the government because they make more money than businessmen.
On the one hand, it is stated that since they receive funding from non-profit organisations, the government shouldn't provide them with financial assistance. Additionally, they simply need to learn how to promote their work globally. They may become well-known over the world by utilising various social media platforms because we live in a globalised world. They can post their singing, dancing, or artistic videos on Facebook or YouTube and make money online. That too from the comfort of their own homes by selling the rights to their works. Many musicians have gained success because of social networking networks. An illustration. Billie Eilish and Justin Bieber have done well for themselves financially.
On the other hand, other people believe that since most artists struggle to make ends meet, the government should provide funding for them. Consequently, artists won't be able to focus on their work and produce works of art when they are experiencing financial hardship. As a result, in order to pay their daily expenditures, they are forced to work a second job or quit their profession altogether. Unpaid artists have the potential to actively represent their nation if assistance is given to them. For example, Bismiah Khan, who used to play the shehnai, came from a very low social class. Along with recognising his skill, the government provided financial support for him to use his talent. He received widespread acclaim and received numerous honours. These talents may represent a nation with pride on global stages with financial assistance.
To summarise, all sides' views are valid. However I think the government should financially assist some artists in order for them to be successful in their line of work.

Model Answer 3

Nearly all artists receive meagre wages for their creations, so they have decided to seek funding from the government. However, I completely disagree with this assertion because some artists receive high wages from other organisations for their works. Therefore, in my opinion, the government should allocate funds elsewhere rather than giving to artists.
First, this essay will examine how the government should use its resources to create roads. This roads are meant for rural areas, schools, and health care facilities rather than investing in the arts. Second, the government can encourage competition so that artists can earn more money from their creations. Additionally, some skilled artists can earn significant money from their work by using social media. In my opinion, the government should invest money in the healthcare sector rather than spending it on individuals. I do agree that valuing art is necessary, but in today’s day, it is a necessity to invest in the healthcare sector. Since medical challenges are increasing day by day at an enormous rate. In addition, the government should ensure medical education in the rural areas as people residing there lack healthcare understanding. Educating individuals in rural areas will help in a number of ways. This will ensure development of a nation at grass root level. Moreover, it will also ensure that an individual takes necessary action at the time of necessity. But I'm not saying that the government should give money to artists because some of them can make more money. Because their work is more meaningful and adorable, like Picasso, whose paintings can fetch up to $2,000 or $3,000 on the open market. Instead, I'm saying that artists can make a lot of money based on their creative endeavours.
In the future, the government will organise events to support artists and provide them with tiny financial incentives. This is to help them develop new ideas and sell their creations for thousands of dollars on the global market.
Finally, the government prefers to spend money wisely rather than elsewhere.
