Topic: With the development of artificial intelligence, modern robots have carried out more and more jobs in various areas. It is thought that they should be used to replace teachers in schools. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Band 7 IELTS Essay

Artificial intelligence research and development has always been a contentious subject. Modern robots now perform a variety of tasks thanks to the advancement of artificial intelligence. Some people believe that school teachers should be replaced. I concur with this viewpoint from my vantage point for the reasons listed below.

First and foremost, it is crucial to highlight the factors that cause disagreement. The absence of realistic interaction following the replacement of teachers with robots may be the first noteworthy factor. Robots and learners will engage formally in a way that is comparable to using computers. Therefore they will only impart knowledge and no practical skills, notably communication skills. This could have a negative impact on the students' ability to learn or their academic performance. The cost of replacing instructors with robots is the second factor that should not be disregarded. Artificial intelligence, or modern materials used in several stages, is used to create robots.

The country runs out of money before all the school teachers have been replaced to meet other social needs. The lack of experience is perhaps the third important cause, and certainly not the least. Thanks to the advancement of artificial intelligence, robots can now learn a wide variety of things. But they lack the necessary experience to teach or interact with students, especially those who are emotionally charged. To mold students' attitudes and behaviors toward life, teachers must be passionate, committed, and inspirational. In a nutshell, it would be a waste of resources and unproductive to replace instructors with robots.

On the other hand, there are already established elements that promote agreement. Additionally, because of modern technology, kids will not be confronted with peculiar inquiries that teachers can't adequately explain. This makes their methods of learning more efficient and less disruptive.

In conclusion, I firmly believe that replacing instructors with robots is a poor idea. Doing so may have certain benefits, but it might also cause a myriad of issues for society as a whole, as well as for students. Due to their "wonderful intellect," robots may replace other jobs. Like those of laborers or engineers more frequently than they will replace teaching positions.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

Regarding the potential effects of artificial intelligence, people appear to be either optimistic or concerned. I can personally relate to the two conflicting points of view. Since I am both thrilled by the advances in machine learning and concerned about any potential drawbacks.

On the one extreme, the growing sophistication of technology ought to provide some obvious advantages. It's obvious that machines can perform many tasks more effectively than people. Particularly those that call for extreme accuracy or complex calculations involving a lot of data.

We now have automobiles that use cameras and sensors to drive themselves. And robots are being developed that can do medical procedures with greater accuracy than a human doctor. By lowering the possibility of human error, such technologies can increase safety. It is simple to see how these and several more technologies will continuously raise our standard of living.

On the other extreme, I share the worries of those who think that if we are careless, artificial intelligence could hurt us. It's conceivable that unemployment will increase in the near future as humans in different sectors are replaced by robots or software.

Robots are now capable of learning a wide range of skills because of the development of artificial intelligence. However, they lack the requisite background to instruct or engage with students, particularly those who are sensitive. Teachers must be enthusiastic, devoted, and motivating in order to shape pupils' thoughts and actions toward life.

Self-driving cars, for instance, are predicted to eliminate driving positions like those of bus, taxi, and truck drivers. If technological solutions gradually eliminate human jobs. We might observe in the medium term that individuals become unemployable and lose their sense of meaning in life. A longer-term worry is that computers will grow so smart that they will start making judgments independently of humans and without concern for our welfare.

In conclusion, even though intelligent robots will undoubtedly make our lives better in many ways. It is important to be aware of the risks associated with these technologies.

Band 9 IELTS Essay

Many people today are concerned about artificial intelligence's possible downsides. These worries are, in my opinion, valid, but overall. I believe that artificial intelligence will enable human endeavor to reach new heights.

The main concerns are that it will be misused by both people and machines in the future. The former has already begun to occur as a result of the automation of many traditional jobs. The jobs at risk will shift from low-skilled factory workers to data scientists and other white-collar professionals as artificial intelligence advances.

The worry is that businesses will be completely focused on their bottom line, fire a lot of workers, and start widespread social upheaval. Some people also think that A.I. heralds grimmer futures akin to the post-apocalyptic dystopias depicted in movies. Like The Matrix and Terminator. Although it is difficult to assess its chance, this is a possibility.

Although the aforementioned theories should be regarded seriously, they are nothing compared to the technology that artificial intelligence can enhance. A wide range of businesses, including Google, Amazon, and Tesla, are making significant investments in this sector due to its tremendous potential.

For instance, self-driving cars are rapidly approaching reality and will drastically cut the amount of traffic accidents. Government policymakers will be able to make use of advanced algorithms to forecast economic policy and improve the lives of billions of people. Smartphones will be more and more useful for consumers, allowing people to prioritize their time between work, home, and leisure. The most fascinating and significant applications are still to be discovered, so this is merely a small list.

In conclusion, problems associated with artificial intelligence exist for both the labor force. And the humanity of the future but new project prospects should take precedence. Finding a balance and ways to lessen the risks are crucial.
