Topic: Animal rights have become a topic of discussion for individuals and government. How far is animal testing justifiable?

Band 6 IELTS Essay

To begin, there are several reasons why animal testing is important. The first and foremost reason is that some animals, such as rats and monkeys, share the same genes as humans. If researchers conduct trials on them for any medicine or vaccine, it will reveal any adverse effects or effectiveness of the drugs. It would aid in lowering the risk to individual lives. For example, during the Covid pandemic, scientists around the world were testing covid vaccines on animals before introducing them into the human population.

Despite numerous rejections, researchers were eventually successful in discovering covid vaccines. As a result, testing on animals before humans could save millions of lives. Animal testing has become a point of contention between the government and the public in recent years. It is one of the most contentious issues. This essay argues whether or not animal testing is justified. I would have to support a limited number of experiments for the expansion of medical research. I will discuss more points in the following paragraphs.Animals, on the one hand, are sentient beings. So, they have feelings like humans. Just because they can't speak doesn't mean they can't be hurt. They also have emotions and families. Furthermore, animal examinations are against the moral compass because animal killing is illegal. There are many alternative methods, such as embryonic cell research, stem cell research, and so on. Furthermore, research can be conducted on people on death row. Animals, on the other hand, are considered inferior to humans. For example, Schizophrenia's successful medicine was tested on animals first. 65% of respondents to the BBC forum support animal testing and believe that the animals should not feel pain during experiments. However, this can mutilate their bodies, and approximately 80% of treatment on animals has failed due to distinct biochemical factors. Animals are also innocent. If they continue to be used for research, there will be no more animals to do so, leading to the extinction of some species. To summarize, we must be the voice for the voiceless. As a result, animal experiments should be limited. Alternative approaches should be encouraged. Only necessary research should be permitted.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

Nowadays, advancement in the medical sector is concerned about animal testing. How far it is fair is a contentious issue. In the following paragraphs, I will explain what the government and individuals should do in response to such a phenomenon and to what extent this is fair. There is a plethora of scientific experiments being conducted on animals these days, which is extremely dangerous for species because they have emotions just like humans.

Aside from that, a number of animals are on the verge of becoming extinct; if scientists conduct experiments on them, the situation will deteriorate in the future because our ecosystem will suffer greatly without this creature. To illustrate, one of the university surveys states that the population in India has declined by 10% compared to the previous year. On the other hand, creatures are an unavoidable need for an environment; without them, humans would perish. However, there are some chronic diseases, such as diabetes, Corona, and polio, which are so dangerous to human health . The authorities should allow scientists to experiment on animals. Experiments on rats and rabbits for the corona vaccine, for example, now save millions of lives on a global scale. Furthermore, because rats and humans have the same body structure, researchers can develop vaccines in a more efficient manner. Furthermore, the cabinet should pass legislation requiring experiments on older animals rather than younger ones. Animals have emotions but governments can regulate this by enforcing laws limiting experimental experiments on older animals. Finally, animals are an important part of nature. As a result, when animal experiments are required, the government should regulate the law.

Band 8 IELTS Essay

All animals, like humans, have the right to live in this world. Animals are now used in a variety of industries for a variety of purposes, and as a result, many species have become extinct. In the following paragraph, I will present my argument to support my point of view.To begin with, animals are used in medicine to produce medicine and for various types of experiments. We first test new drugs on animals because we cannot test new drugs on humans without first learning about the drug's side effects.

Animals, on the other hand, have the same rights as humans to live freely. Because they have the same feelings and emotions as people. Both animals and humans have the same physiology and neuron activity in their brains. Further, they maintain the ecosystem, because mammals rely on one another for food; however, if they are routinely used for research, it disrupts the ecosystem. For example, rats are commonly used in research labs by scientists for a variety of experiments, and they are cat food. As a result, they may become extinct one day if research continues. This would directly affect cats' food. We are conducting experiments on many extinct animals, which are harmful to future generations of these animals. For our experiment, we can use the simulation. Second, animals are used in the production of various foods. Vegetarians believe that we should avoid using animals in our meals because we can get a lot of vitamins from vegetables. Animals earn money by visiting zoos. We should not, in my opinion, use animals for our own benefit because we have no right to do so. On the other hand, some people believe that we can use animals to make food because they are at the bottom of our food chain. We lack advanced technology with which to experiment. Zoo visits can provide our children with a wealth of information. To summarize, if there is an alternative method that does not involve the use of animals, we should pursue it and save these animals from extinction.
