Poor fuel quality and lax automobile regulation worldwide are to blame for these emissions. Additionally, it is the source of fossil fuel CO2 emissions that is expanding the fastest, which adds to climate change. These varying-by-location activities encourage drivers and commuters to abandon their cars for the day. Going car-free has evident benefits, as evidenced by the first day without a car in Paris, France, which was held in September 2015 and reduced pollution by 40%. Despite the outstanding results in reducing air pollution, I view this approach as temporary. This is because we only cease utilising carriers for one day per year, meaning that even if we expand the number of days, the impact will be little. Others, however, contend that there are more effective ways to reduce air pollution. This includes planting more flowers since they can absorb atmospheric carbon dioxide. According to a recent NASA study, indoor plants like Daisy and ivy can absorb harmful chemicals and hazardous elements. These preventive measures include encouraging the use of electric vehicles as well as the usage of renewable energy sources like solar and wind energy. This makes it a one-sided strategy and maybe ineffective for dealing with the air pollution issue. I believe there are more effective ways to reduce air pollution. One of them entails building lanes just for public transportation. These lanes ensure that mass transit is significantly quicker than private automobiles during rush hours. This may persuade most commuters to forgo using their private vehicles in favour of mass transit. The consequences of this situation is that the use of motor vehicles can be reduced to a year altogether.
