Model Answer 1:

With the fast pace of development, we are witnessing a huge proportion of the population immigrating to urban areas. With the difference in technology and development, people prefer a more urban style of living, dropping the rural areas to settle in urban areas. The advancement which we are encountering may seem to be appeasing but simultaneously the huge influx of people is also causing some economic and social crises which are difficult to fix. These social and economic crises are affecting the country as a whole thus, putting a halt to the progress of a country.

To begin with, the huge number of migration in big cities is begetting the issue of unemployment and poverty. The big cities like Delhi, Mumbai have the largest slum area. These people unable to find a decent job are compelled to live in unsought circumstances. The migration of people from rural areas to urban areas is a birthing scarcity of jobs and thus, creating the circumstances where an individual is unable to find a decent job to support his family. Moreover, the high unemployment rate begets social problems like an increase in crime and robbery rate. As people are unable to settle themselves in the atmosphere they are impelled to indulge themselves in criminal activities to support their needs.

Moreover, due to the huge migration of people, the settlement system seems to be in chaos. Due to high prices of housing and maintenance, people find themselves unable to meet the standard of living thus, compromising to live in unsuitable conditions.

However, the government should take several stern steps to solve this issue.

The government should increase the job opportunities in local rural areas so that people don’t have to migrate to urban areas in search of jobs. Government can support various industries to be set up in rural areas and can create job opportunities for the local workers who are not highly skilled.

Model Answer 2:

Every individual aspires to develop with the pace of time, but as we know that development begets its drawback. With more urbanization and globalization, people are tempted towards the urban style of living, especially the people residing in rural areas. There can be many reasons for rural people to migrate to urban cities. The urban big cities offer various facilities and amenities like proper education sector, hospitals and medical facilities and varied jobs. This sought of migration may seem to be problematic on the economic front.

It may seem that the big urban cities offer promising and settled sought of life, but it is just the glitter and charm of these big cities which disguise the gloom of urban areas. The huge migration to urban areas births other socio-economic problems like poverty, pollution, unemployment, settlement in slum areas due to overpopulation and many more. These problems serve as a huge stymie in the path to success.

The last decade has witnessed a huge influx of people from rural to urban areas and the government should step forward to solve this problem. The government needs to comprehend the demands and the necessities of rural people to stop this huge migration.

Firstly, l people , especially the l students , migrate to urban areas in search of better education and job prospects. Due to an improper education system and dearth of educational institutions students are compelled to migrate to urban areas. Thus, the government should work towards the development of the education sector in rural areas and creating job prospects for the young generation.

Secondly, the government should also work towards establishing the facilities of the health care system in rural areas. Due to inefficient and insufficient health care systems, people migrate to urban areas to avail the proper health care facilities.

Thus, it is the primary responsibility of the government to slacken this trend of huge migration so that people could live a decent life.

Model Answer 3:

Currently, it is trendy for people to migrate to urban areas but this migration has caused various other problems which can affect the social-economic front of the country as well as the living standard of people. The government can play an active role to curb these issues and simultaneously contribute to the development of the country.

To begin with, people generally migrate to big cities to avail the facilities offered by the cities and simultaneously to secure the future of their children. Large cities offer education facilities and promising job opportunities but this huge migration can affect the environment and the individual itself.

First of all, huge migration can cause housing and settlement problems. Secondly, such migration results in a dearth of job opportunities and thus, people are compelled to compromise their living standards. Moreover, the increased population also accentuates the rate of pollution causing harm to the environment. Furthermore, more people moving to urban areas to try new professions can decline the rate of people in agriculture causing a hindrance in the food harvesting sector.

To solve these issues the government can introduce and impose such policies which can prove to be fruitful for the people and also for the country as a whole. The government can increase the infrastructure of education and the health care system to ensure a decreased level of migration for education and healthcare purposes. Secondly, the government needs to increase employment opportunities so that people can find decent jobs in rural areas. Lastly, a separate portion of the national budget should be allotted for the development of rural areas.

Thus, the government should try to provide a city with an environment meant to the rural people for their development.
