Dear Samuel,

The sudden decision to visit Vijaynagar is a pleasant surprise to me. Your letter has amused my family and me. I am glad that you will be able to manage two week-long vacation and I am excited to meet you. I would love you to stay at my home as long as you want. In fact, Vijay Nagar has various scenery and sites that you must visit but I would like to take you personally. But staying in a hotel is not acceptable because why would you stay there when I have my own house? I recommend you to visit De Maharaja Century, National Museum, Chinatown, and more while you are staying in the city. I will also take you to the Raja temple which is the tallest rat in the world. I would also recommend you to try various street foods and also would like to take you to the mall so that you can shop. Life is vibrant and diverse here. I am quite sure that you will enjoy this vacation here. After you spend some days in Jayanagar we can also move to another district like Gandhinagar. This is a formal state and is my personal favorite. The weather will be hot and humid, and I would like to also tell you about the temperature. The temperature varies from 26 to 36°C hence I would like you to bring your summer clothes so that you feel light when we travel. Cannot wait to see you.

Warm wishes
Rimpa

Dear Peter,

I’m so glad to hear from you after so long. I am very excited that you decided to visit our country. I am also happy that you are staying for two weeks. I would not let this opportunity go away. I would like to tell you a few things before you visit so that you can pack accordingly. So when you come here I would like you to stay at my place which is in Kolkata. This is the wintertime when you are coming, so do not bring heavy winter clothes as in Kolkata and DAS it’s not that cold. Also, try to bring a light jacket and sweatshirt. Also, I have thought that we can go to see places like Victoria Memorial Park Street, Princep Ghat, Howrah Bridge and more. I would also like to take you on the tracking journey so that you can experience the only tramp in India. I have also decided to teach you in the hotel that floats. It has various food items and luxury rooms. Apart from that, I would also like to take you for street shopping and street food which is very renowned in Kolkata. I would also like to take you to the yellow taxi which is very famous worldwide. Do not worry about your accommodation and arrangements because I will manage everything. Anyways I believe I have given you the necessary information about the place you can pack accordingly and please feel free to contact me while you come here.

Warm wishes

Dear Patrick,

I’m very happy to receive your letter yesterday and to know about your two-week-long vacation in Delhi. I am looking forward to it and I’m sure that you will be happy if I am the host here. I would like to tell you that I will arrange your stay at our house. We have many rooms and you will be very comfortable as no one is going to hinder your privacy. My parents would also be glad to see you here. But in case you want to stay at a hotel, it will be nice if you stay two days at least at my place. Then you can move to a hotel so that you can also see the diversity. I want you to take me to the museum, Jeel called Hauz Khas, and more when you are here in Delhi. I would also like to take you to street shopping and various street foods. The food is amazing here, and I believe that you would like it. We all will also try boarding local trains, which is quite exciting. We can also go to campfires and mountain hiking. That would be a great experience. I would also take in the local library which has a good collection of books. As I know you are a book lover this place is definitely going to impress you.

Also about the season, it would be hot and humid. So feel free to bring jeans, shorts, and T-shirts mostly. And excited to meet you at the airport.

Yours
Samuel
