Topic: In some cities and towns all over the world the high volume of traffic is a problem. What are the causes of this and what actions can be taken to solve this problem?

Traffic jams are a major problem in the present times. With growing technology and fast [aced of development, we are relying more on technology for our movement. The high volume of traffic which people encounter in big cities is an important problem to address. The high volume of traffic is not just affecting humans but also the environment in many ways. There could be many reasons for the increase in traffic in these years. Let’s take a glance at these reasons one by one.

To begin with, heavy traffic is a byproduct of the accessibility of technology to people. Today more and more people prefer to travel in their car to travel to distant places or to the workplace. People can easily lay their hands on the new models of vehicles especially cars and they do prefer to travel in cars with their family to ensure the safety of their family. Thus, people for their comfort and ease prefer to travel with their vehicle, causing an additional burden on nature as well as for the general public.

In addition, with the low maintenance of roads, big transport vehicles like the bus aren’t able to travel to many such places. With the lack of a proper transportation system, people are also compelled to travel by their vehicles. With The lack of proper maintenance of roads in remote places, there is a high risk of travelling to these places by bus or by any other big vehicle.

Thus, we can cite a plethora of reasons for heavy traffic jams in big cities, but the major issue is to solve this problem. Though it is not possible to solve this problem completely, we can opt for certain ways to lessen the probability of traffic jams. Firstly, we can encourage people to use public transport for travelling to their work instead of preferring their vehicle. Secondly, we can ask people to use bicycles or prefer to take a walk to cover a short distance.

To conclude we can do our little bit to lessen the problem of heavy traffic in big cities.

There are certain issues in society that need to be addressed urgently. One of them being the heavy traffic jams in big cities. The heavy traffic jams are not only for local people but also hurt nature simultaneously. Thus, there is an urgent need to address this issue. There could be many reasons for the heavy traffic jams in big cities and it is very important to reflect on this reason to find an appropriate solution for this issue.

To begin with, proper maintenance of public transport is the major cause of heavy traffic in big cities. The low funds for the maintenance of public transport impel the general public to travel by their clients. With the absence of proper maintenance of public transport facilities, people don’t prefer to travel by bus or trains. In addition, with the overpopulation in big cities, it is obvious that the problem of heavy traffic jams cannot be avoided. People tend to migrate to big cities in search of better job opportunities thus, overburdening the resources.

With the above reasons for heavy traffic jams, it is difficult to find a perfect solution to the issue of traffic jams, but we can find certain ways to reduce the burden of heavy traffic jams. Firstly, there is an urgent need to improve the public transport facility so that people are not compelled to travel by their vehicle. Secondly, it is also important to spread awareness regarding this issue and simultaneously exhort people to travel by public transport while going for their work.

To crown it all, it is the responsibility of the government and people collectively to solve this problem of traffic jams and to lessen its effect on nature and people themselves.
