Air and Water Pollution has Become a Major Problem IELTS Writing Task 2 consists of three sample answers provided below. The task requires the candidates to provide a tentative and argumentative answer for the question. The sample answers comprises two parts: Introduction and body. The introduction is a brief description about the topic. The body contains argumentative statements and tentative answers to support the test-taker's perspective. Topic: In many developing countries, there is a problem with declining quality of air and water from both industry and construction. What measures could be taken to prevent this?

Due to the increase of urbanization there is an increase in air and water pollution. There are many other reasons for this. There are many measures to control the situation. It is the age of modernization and industrialization. Manby new industries and construction is going on. It is affecting the environment adversely. The polluted gasses from the industries are released into the environment. Also due to the pollution of vehicles the air has been polluted. It has become difficult to breathe openly. The fresh air is not available anywhere. Also, there is more polluted air in urban areas as compared to hilly or mountainous regions. This is because the population and vehicles increase. Industries are generally setted up in polluted or urban areas.
The reason for water pollution is the disposal of waste into water bodies. The industries dispose of acidic and toxic waste into the rivers and canals. Many wildlife animals get affected by drinking the same water. Also, the people living nearby consuming that water might get affected. There are many industries that directly suppose waste into water.
There are many measures to control the situation. The first and foremost measure is enactment of strict laws and regulations. Some laws should be made on the location of any industry or the factory. The location of industry in city or urban areas will affect the water and air.Goverenemnt should make the rule to set up industries on the outskirts of the city.Many developments should be done from industry side as well. There should be a proper chimney to throw polluted gasses out. Because such harmful pollutants get settled in the local surroundings. There should be an outer chimney system. Another method can be disposal method advancement. Advanced techniques should be used to treAt acidic waste and remove harmful chemicals from the. The waste should not be released into water bodies. It should be disposed of. The workers should be trained regarding the same.
To conclude, the measures discussed must be implemented. There should be proper checks by the government on the same.

Many developed and non developing countries are facing air and water pollution problems. Most affected are the developing countries. The quality of air and weather in the environment has been polluted. The reason behind this is urbanization and growing industries. Many measures are discussed below to control the situation. Many industries still rely on fossil fuels. They manufacture goods by burning fossil fuels. Many countries lack infrastructure development. So it is difficult for them to find cheap renewable methods. They still are developing and increasing infrastructure advancement.
Government must take initiatives regarding the location of industry. The environment friendly companies should be supported to bring effective techniques binto the market. Many new techniques of disposal of waste should be adopted. Waste must not be disposed of into the water bodies. It not only affects the environment but also affects animals and humans drinking that water. Furthermore, the ministry can educate companies and provide them incentives for operations responsibly and profitably. The air pollution can be reduced by a proper chimney system. The industries should be setted up outside of the city. The industries in the city affect the air of that city. For example : our capital Delhi has very polluted air. It is because of increased urbanization and population there. The increase of population means an increase of vehicles. There the quality of air is so polluted that it becomes difficult to breath. Many harmful infections spread in such places.
To conclude, the measures listed above must be implemented by the government. The government must make proper laws and regulations to control the situation. Developing countries should not ignore the pollution factor. Along with development it should be noticed and controlled as well. Many investments should be done on the disposal waste systems. Instead of burning fossil fuel electricity should become a medium. Electricity is easy to generate through water. Also, disposal of waste into water bodies must be immediately restricted.

Developing countries are facing many difficulties in regards to pollution. Air and water pollution is increasing in such countries. Most affected by it are the local vans bsatiuve people. There are many reasons for this situation. The most common reason is the increase of urbanization and deforestation. Mnyt ,easyres can be considered to control the situation.
Many industries still rely on fossil fuels for manufacturing. They operate heavy machines through burning of fuels. Due to this, many harmful gasses are released into the atmosphere. This leads to health hazards.Also, the acidic and toxic waste of industries is disposed of into the water bodies. It leads to a threat for aquatic animals and plants. Also it might affect the animals and humans drinking that water. The cutting of forests for industries led to deforestation. pLants help to maintain fresh air. Also they attract rainfall. But due to deforestation the whole ecology has become imbalanced. The climatic conditions have changed. In the age of modernization, there is more focus on setting up as many industries as possible.
The measures to control such a situation should be considered. Government should not allow cutting and clearing forests for the purpose of industries. Also industries should be setted up outside the city. There should be electricity used for machines rather than fuels. There should be a proper chimney system. Also, the proper treatment of waste should be done before disposing. There should be restrictions on disposal into the water bodies. There should be initiatives taken to increase afforestation. Plantation of as many trees as possible should be taken. There must be no disturbance with the ecological system. Also proper education and awareness regarding the matter should be spread. People should be made aware about the consequences of increased air and water pollution.
To conclude, the above discussed methods should be considered. THere should be no ignoring pollution.. Developing countries must take initiatives to control the effects of urbanization.
