Band 8 IELTS Essay

Every day, thousands of people die in road accidents around the world. Many of these accidents involve young drivers. To address this situation, some argue that the driving age limit should be raised. Although this is a feasible solution, in my opinion, some other measures could be more effective in reducing the number of road fatalities and injuries. Raising the legal driving age means fewer new drivers on the roads. This would certainly make the roads safer, as young drivers account for around 20% of traffic accidents worldwide. But how can we prevent other traffic accidents that teenage drivers do not cause? We also need to remember that the more we resist, the more someone will resist. Therefore, this solution may lead to unlicensed driving among young people. This is especially true in some Asian countries, where traffic rules are ignored in broad daylight.

On the other hand, I believe that road safety can be significantly improved if we focus on preventive measures. First, government authorities should change the standards for issuing driver's licenses. Only qualified people can obtain a driver's license. Second, penalties such as small fines, driver's license suspension, safe driving courses, and even imprisonment should be introduced for those who ignore traffic rules. Third, authorities should pay attention to safe street design. For example, warning signs about bumps and sharp curves and cameras monitoring vehicle speed limits can be very helpful. Finally, increased investment in public transport by local authorities or the government could be beneficial as it would reduce the number of private cars on the roads.

In conclusion, a change in the legal driving age could definitely make a difference. Nevertheless, other measures are equally important and without them it would be nearly impossible to reduce the number of road fatalities.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Each day thousands of individuals all over the globe get into street accidents. Numerous of these crashes include youthful drivers. A few individuals say that the age constraint for driving ought to be raised to handle this circumstance. In spite of the fact that this can be done but, in my conclusion, a few other measures can be more successful in controlling activity passing and wounds.

Raising the lawful driving age implies that there will be fewer amateur drivers on the streets. This would certainly make streets more secure as youthful drivers are responsible for almost 20 percent of street accidents. But, how to avoid the other street disasters which are not caused by teenage drivers. Moreover, we have to be beyond any doubt that the more you stand up to somebody, the more they go against it. In this way, this arrangement can lead to unauthorized driving by young people. Typically, it is especially genuine for a few Asian nations where activity rules are mocked in wide sunshine.

On the other hand, on the off chance that we center on the measures, I accept that street security can be moved forward impressively. Firstly, the traffic police ought to alter the guidelines for giving driving licenses. As it were, qualified people must be issued a permit. Besides, driving punishment such as little fines, permit suspension, drive mindfulness courses and indeed jail sentences ought to be presented for those who resist activity laws. Thirdly, specialists ought to pay consideration to secure street plans. For occurrence, caution signs for bumps, sharp bends and cameras to screen the speed constraints of vehicles can be of extraordinary offer of assistance. At last, higher speculation in open transport by neighborhood boards or governments can be productive because it will decrease the number of private cars on streets.

In conclusion, modifying the lawful age constraint to drive can certainly make a distinction. In any case, other measures are similarly crucial, without them, it is nearly inconceivable to combat road fatalities.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

There's an idea that the best way to encourage street security is to increase the legitimate age for picking up a permit for driving transport. This plan concurs due to the fact that the foremost car mishaps are related with the most youthful driving people.

There's no question that the number of car mishaps has skyrocketed as the number of accidents with age down to 25. In a long time ancient era, Z individuals picked up more licences than in the past 5 years. The later discoveries that took out in Australia say that the younger the driver is, the more chances he or she should be responsible for a car accident. The analysts moreover clarified the reality that individuals 20 or underneath have almost 10% more chance of being a cause of a car mishap than indeed 25-year-old individuals. The researchers associated it with the likelihood of the off chance of youthfulness of the drivers. Thus, expanding the lowest age for driving will not as it were lower the rate of car crashes, but to fortify individuals to learn harder to urge their driving licence.

To conclude, the more youthful the individual is, the more chances he or she must get into a car crash. One of the foremost successful ways of avoiding a few of the car accidents to occur is to increase the lawful age for driving vehicles.
