Some people believe that parents are the best teachers of the student’s life and they teach us the best lessons in our life. Whereas, some believe that the teachers we meet in our life teach us more important things and lessons. But I believe that at the initial stage of life, parents are the best teachers for the children who teach them good habits, take care of them, and build good habits in them.
It is seen that parents give the proper shape to their children's life. In the initial stage of life, children will get the support, love and correct guidance from their parents who will tell them how to make right decisions in life and will support them in their every decision. Parents will keep their children safe in every situation and will take them on the correct path.
They also play an important part in their children’s education. They set a proper time table for them, so that children should get enough time to study as well as participate in extracurricular activities. They will engage them in interesting activities to increase their mental ability and problem solving skills. Therefore, parents will spend a proper time with their children to make them understand how to do hardwork in life to get success in the future.
But it should also be taken care that children should get love and time from both mother and father. Parents should not forcefully make the decision for their children's life as this will build the gap between them and children will start avoiding their parents. Hence, we can say that the guidance of parents can make their children's life perfect but everything should be properly planned and properly implemented.
Band 7.5 IELTS Essay
It is said that parents play a crucial role in their children’s life and hence acts as the best teachers in their life. There are some people who believe that teachers we meet in our schools and colleges teach us more important things. It is true to say that teachers also play a vital role in the child’s overall development but parents have a special space in their life that can’t be replaced by some other person.
It is important that a child should get the care and attention of both mother and father. They act as a role model for their children and support them to grow properly in every field of life. They teach them how to respect elders, be honest in their life and help others in their bad times. They have a responsibility to take their child on the right path of their life, so that they can get success in their future. Most of the children follow their parents instructions and the guidance given by them. But there are those who disrespect their parents and don’t follow the lessons given by them. In such cases, parents have to be a little strict towards their children, so that they can bring them back on the right track in their life.
Most working parents don’t have enough time to spend with their children. So, they should have regular checks on their children whether they are going on the right track or not. They have to take some time at the end of the day for their children during which they can interact with them and fulfill all the responsibilities of the parents. Teachers also have an important role in the children's life. They teach them good habits, provide them proper guidance, and support them in their studies. But no one in the world can replace the parents.
Band 7 IELTS Essay
There are different opinions of different people regarding the child's overall development and role of different people in the child development. Some believe that parents have a major role in child development whereas others believe that teachers play an important role in child development. But I believe in the fact that parents have a major role in the child and its career development.
There is nothing to argue in this statement because we all know that parents are the first teacher in the child’s life. They start their child’s journey by teaching them basic theory of life that includes how to speak, read, listen and write. They fulfill the basic needs of their children and at the same time, they give their 100% to bring positivity in their child’s life and get them success in their future. Children should always share the problems of their life with their parents as this will make them feel relaxed and they will get the correct guidance from their parents to solve the problem easily. Parents are the only ones who are responsible to take all the expenses of their children and teach them how to do hardwork in life to get success in future.
Teachers have their own importance in the children’s life and give a lot of contribution in the children's overall development. But it is true to say that no one can replace the parents' space in the children's life as they are the only ones who will support and teach them at every step of their life. It is also important to know that children should get the attention of both mother and father as their overall development can only be done with the equal contribution of both the parents.
