A Trip You Took By Public Transport Cue Card

What transport did you choose?

We started our journey by the night train. It was a night journey to Jaipur- the Pink City. We had a lot of fun during the night journey, especially in the train. After reaching Jaipur, we visited the whole city by walking or taking the auto-rickshaws. Then the next day, we moved to Ranthambore for the Jungle safari. From Jaipur, we took the public bus and moved to Ranthambore where we enjoyed the National Tiger Park Safari. After this, we traveled to Udaipur by the train and visited the whole city by traveling in the auto-rickshaws.

Why did you choose it?

As the tour to Rajasthan was a long journey and it is very difficult to travel by own vehicle. So, we decided to travel by train and bus so that I can enjoy every moment of this tour with my family. It is really very comfortable and enjoyable to travel by public transportation as you don’t have to drive yourself and driving yourself on the long journey makes the tour boring and tiring.

I traveled to a place which was 8-9 hours away from my place to attend my friend’s wedding. It would be really tiring if I had traveled by my own vehicle and would feel tired during the whole wedding ceremony. So, I decided to travel by train as it will create a lot of memories.

What transport did you choose?

I, along with my group of friends, decided to travel to the wedding destination by train. It was really a memorable time as we enjoyed a lot on the train as well as in the wedding ceremony. The journey was very pleasant and not- at- all tiring. We spent the whole journey singing the songs and playing the games. I had met all my friends after a long time and we got quality time to spend together while traveling in the train. There was no hectic driving or tiring feelings. The entire journey was relaxing and enjoyable.

Why did you choose it?

It was my best friend’s wedding and I wanted to enjoy it to my fullest with no tiredness and no burden on my mind. So, I chose to travel by train as it was a safe and secure journey. My parents were also not tense for my security during the journey. Besides this, I found the train journey as more comfortable than the car journey for traveling such a long distance. I never felt tired after reaching the wedding destination.

What transport did you choose?

I decided to go to the lake which was 3 hours away from my home. I moved to that place by the local bus. My brother dropped me at the bus stand from where I sat in the local bus and moved to that place. The soft music playing in my ears and the pleasant and lovely weather outside really made my day. There was no stress regarding the safety of me and my vehicle. My parents were also chilled as they chose the safe mode of transportation for the solo trip. The bus took me from the stand and dropped me near the lake where the ferry was the only mode to travel across the lake. After spending some time near the lake and visiting the nearby places and took the ferry and crossed the lake and traveled back home again by the local bus.

Why did you choose it?

Traveling 3-4 hours by my own bike was a really risky and tiring journey. It was not at all the safe and secure mode of transportation for my solo trip. I just wanted to enjoy the weather without any other disturbance, so I thought the local bus was the best option to travel to the main destination.
