Band 8 IELTS essay

The three tables compare the opinions of club members and the general public regarding the opening of a new theatre. Evidently, the responses were comparable in some respects and dissimilar in others.

Seventy percent of club members and sixty-seven percent of the general population rated the production quality of the theatre as outstanding. One-sixteenth and one-eighteenth, respectively, of both groups felt that the production quality was adequate, while a nearly equal number (13% and 15%) felt that it was poor. it

Three-quarters of club members rated the theater's facilities as outstanding, whereas only 55% of the general public agreed. 23% of club members and 19% of the general public rated the facilities as satisfactory. However, the greatest disparity can be observed among those who rated the facilities as inadequate. 26% of the general public were extremely dissatisfied with the club's facilities and rated them as inadequate, whereas only 2% of club members held the same opinion.

Overall, a greater proportion of respondents gave a 'outstanding' or'satisfactory' rating for each criterion than gave a 'poor' rating.

The opinions of club members and the broader public on a new theatre are compared across three tables. It's clear that there were some commonalities and some differences in the responses.

Despite only 2% of club members being unsatisfied, 26% of the general public gave the club's facilities a low rating.
