Model Answer 1

People in the modern world are becoming judgemental. In regards to material possession and social status rather than valuing old traditional morals and beliefs. The old traditional values such as morals, beliefs, trust, honesty, honor, generosity do not amount to much in today's condemnatory world.

A large number of people only make friends with the rich, wealthy or influential person. Keeping in mind the advantages he/she will gain from the individual. Rather than making friends with a kind, generous person, as there is no monetary or wealth benefit in that connection.

Similarly, one from a wealthy and rich family might think twice before making a friendship with a commoner. Or not so established as it may hamper his/her social status. Also, there may be a chance that the individual may be bullied for making a connection with a person with inferior social status. For instance, a student in school belongs to the rich and wealthy families. Will not make friends with a driver's son or daughter as it might hamper her social status.

The major reason contributing to these stereotypes is the way of thinking of people in society. The rich, wealthy, and influential people have gained the highest position in society influencing their monetary power. While a man with principles and dignity is lacking behind as he is less influential in terms of monetary power. The goals that are laid in the society for the youth are not correct and thus this biasness is increasing in leaps and bounds.

To sum up, in the overcritical world of modernization and urbanization, the wealthy, and influential people are given more respect and honor in society. But there are people in the society with old traditional values and morals that must not be overlooked as those values are critical for a successful life. Efforts need to be made to inculcate those values in youth. And set proper role models who will not only inspire them to follow them but make them stronger, better individuals in this competitive world. Rather than looking for shortcuts to attain a higher position in society.

Model Answer 2

Nowadays, the traditional values in human beings such as honesty and integrity are being neglected and almost forgotten. Rather it is believed that social status and personal wealth form the major contributing factor for the person to be judged. Where it must be mentioned in the fast-growing world, economic and social status do contribute a lot for a person being judged. But this measure is not the only measure for a person being judged. The old traditional values should be given equal importance as it still plays a significant role in our societies.

An individual is judged based on his/her social status and wealth as we are living in the so-called pop culture and materialistic era. One of the biggest examples is how celebrities are becoming famous nowadays. Many Celebrities are becoming famous with their physical appearance and personal wealth such as Kim Kardashian. The reality television program organized by her never shows any world-class acting quality, but only displays her luxurious mansions and fancy cars. While some sons and daughters of celebrities are recognized by their family’s wealth and possessions. Paris Hilton is a classical example. Having many bad attitudes, she is still popular because she inherits the assets of her parents.

Traditional values include respecting others, honesty, and integrity form an integral part of the community which is now being neglected and almost forgotten. In most cases, employers are still looking for potential employees based on their hard-working attitude, positive behavior, and integrity. And then businessmen are still looking for business partners who are reliable, trustworthy, and dependable. Therefore, it is the utmost duty of parents to teach their children about these positive values because they still play an important role in society.

Though people are judged based on their wealth and social status. Nowadays, old-fashioned values such as honor, respect, and trust cannot be eliminated from our society. To conclude, we must teach our young generation about these cultures, morals, and values in order to survive and succeed in the future.

Model Answer 3

A person's worth is nowadays based and judged on his/her social status and materialistic possession. Old fashion values such as morals, beliefs, attitudes, culture, and values are neglected and are almost forgotten. Honor, kindness, trust, respect have lost their importance in human lives.

The wealthy, rich are influential people in society and command greater respect in modern society. Thus, respect is based on the possession of wealth and assets. The rich businessmen, promoters command greater power and respect in the society compared to noble teachers or a normal office working person. Thus, it can be said kindness, generosity, respect, and honor are becoming irrelevant in society. And the possession of wealth and assets determines the person's worth in society. One of the reasons for such a trend is the media role which encourages youths to follow the wrong role models.

The creation of wrong role models in life by youngsters is having negative consequences. They are misguided by the notion that a person must be wealthy and powerful to be successful in life. They are impressed by singers, actors, dancers who have millions of followers on social media and try to follow their path. They do not care whether the person they admire has moral values, beliefs, and integrity. They are only blinded by the hype surrounding the so-called famous celebrity in social media.

Not surprisingly, a study conducted by a university in 2016. It revealed that 75% of girls aged between 14 and 18 years would rather prefer to become Khloe Kardashian than Madam Curie or Mother Teresa.

However, people with principles, dignity have not gone extinct. They are still around but could not succeed in life and reach the pinnacle of power or success. In offices, mostly the high posts are occupied by rich, wealthy influential men who are morally corrupt. Youngsters who follow them, get the impression that honest people do not get success in life. Consequently, they give up their ideologies and follow the imprints of those who find easy, unfair means to get success.

In the twenty-first century, values have certainly become irrelevant, where honest and ethical persons are struggling to succeed in this materialistic world. To remove these discrepancies, first and foremost it is the duty of adults to teach the youth about morals, values, and their importance in human life
