Model Answer 1

When it was?

This is a fantastic chance for me to share my story about a nightmare I had. I went to the movies on Friday to see a freshly released, hugely popular horror film. After the coaching courses, I was supposed to watch the movie with some of my college buddies. It took place at night. Only one of the five of us consented to go see the movie with me after we were released from the coaching because of personal obligations.  The screenplay and the director of the film were a masterful collaboration of individual abilities. The movie was good enough to expose my fictitious bravery and heroism. I consider myself to be a man of courage. Nevertheless, as it was December, we both left for our houses on a chilly night.

What was a nightmare?

I enjoyed the views in my dreams as I dozed off while thinking about the movie. December's chilly night and the strong air worked together to make this evening particularly fortunate. It took on a more terrifying quality due to the constant nighttime sound of winds slamming against windows and doors. I was lying with my back to the wall next to me while I slept, but I felt a presence behind me. I was still aware that it was only a side effect of watching on a wide screen.  However, I felt a little amount of sheet thrashing as if someone were lying beside me. I paid it no mind because I was fast asleep. How is it possible that I suddenly sensed frigid air inside my blanket? I pull blankets from all sides as I sleep. It felt strange like someone was blowing air from my mouth onto my back from inside the blanket.

How did you feel afterwards?

When the threshold was reached, I yelled, "Mom," as loudly as I could. I repeated my yell, but no one heard me. I mustered up the strength to make an unsuccessful attempt at moving my body. How is this even conceivable? Neither I'm really sleeping nor am I being controlled by my subconscious thoughts. My bird was petted by a wet hand. With all the might of the universe, I yelled once more. It was my mother's hands patting my back as I opened my eyes, and she was attempting to get me up for college even though it was already 7 am. On this 20 °C morning, the sweat on my face was still wet. I told my mother about it when she insisted, and she laughed as she left the room.

When it was?

Thank you very much for this interesting topic. A few weeks ago, I had a dream, and I had no good chance to perceive it as just a dream. In fact, it was a nightmare. I dreamt about the death of a dear one whom I regard a lot. Thankfully, it was just a petty nightmare, amounting to no damage in real life.

What was a nightmare?

I broke from my sleep at dawn; I was feeling guilty more than sad because I saw that dream. I felt a sense of emptiness inside me even though the thought persisted just for a minute or so. This nightmare concerned the one whom I dreamt of and I ran to the kitchen to feed my desert-like throat. I too pondered about our life and death and that was a bit melancholic for me. However, the bubble of nightmares and associated feelings faded off. Now rationality prevailed over the dream and I went back to sleep. Early in the morning, I made contact with my beloved friend and I was so relaxed to hear his voice. I told him about the dream and he insisted that I not worry and assured his safety.

How did you feel afterwards?

Actually, in the recent past, I have gone through similar bad events, the father of my friend has recently passed away and similar news is surfed in the WhatsApp groups daily because of the Covid-19. So, I believe, I had been a little more worried, and the dream was a manifestation of these thoughts. Moreover, I was in a bit of mental trauma because of this news, back then. So, my subconscious mind augmented this fear, and accordingly, the event articulated orderly in my dream. This is not my kind of dream. I have seldom experienced such nightmares. The experience of the dream was no lesser than a real experience. I was a prisoner of sadness and could not sleep well the whole night; it was so impactful. That’s why we should often keep checking on our friends and loved ones; some vacant hearts are irreplaceable.

When it was?

I would like to show my gratitude for this opportunity and regard the standard of the topic. A few days ago I dreamt that I had missed a train. I perceived it to be a sign of nature as it was indicating something to me. But I was unable to decipher the dream. Later I realized that it may be a sign of my negligence in my study. Later, I started focusing on my academics. It is an interesting cue card for me and let me explain its intricacies of it.

What was a nightmare?

It was a blend of many feelings altogether. Recently, a couple of weeks ago, I was not sincerely concentrating on academics. I wandered around and flunk the classes. Moreover, I got а couple of friends sharing the same feeling similar to me and this company resisted my growth. I could not focus on my studies. So, I associated my dream with this thought, and this over-thinking pushed me into a guilt trip. I perceived it to be a message from my subconscious mind and ought to focus on my studies.

How did you feel afterwards?

Actually, the dream was symbolic and like an instruction to me. I saw that nightmare, in which I had missed a train. I failed to reach the station on time. I tried to cope with the time but due to my negligence, I failed to get there on time. There were and still are several ways to interpret this nightmare. But I chose to link it with my academic career as it is beneficial to me. My subconscious mind showed me the dream about which I am scared. The dream was just a means to convey this message from the universe that I really need to get back on track. Failure of student dharma i.e. studying, there remain high chances of detrimental results. The dream still holds a considerable place in my brain which is again revived due to this cue card exercise. I conveyed the same to my peers and moved to a hostel where an adequate ambiance was provided for my studies. I was not determined to achieve the goal and work persistently towards the same. The dream was a warning to me that is why I cannot forget it.
