Band 6 IELTS Letter

Respected Sir,

My name is Marcus, and I frequently visit your sports facility. We have recently discovered some difficulties with your otherwise well-managed sports centre. And I just felt that it was time to bring them to your attention in order to protect both the user comfort and the reputation of your renowned sports facility. Let me now go over each issue individually.

The first issue is that some of the changing room doors don't lock correctly. This is likely because the lock mechanisms have aged or worn out from constant use. Another issue is that these rooms occasionally smell bad as soon as we enter them, either from improper cleaning or improper "deodorising." Of course, I've previously protested to the manager overseeing the upkeep of your sports centre a few times. But it doesn't seem like the problems have been resolved. Since my last complaint to him two months ago, despite his assurances that the problems will be resolved, little has really changed. In order for us to all be able to resume enjoying our time at your establishment as we once did. I would appreciate it if you took the necessary actions to address the problems mentioned above as soon as possible.

Faithfully
Marcus

Band 6.5 IELTS Letter

Respected Sir,

I am writing this letter to complain about the poor conditions of the changing room. Also, to show disappointment regarding the unhygienic conditions of changing rooms of your Sports Centre. I am John, a permanent member of your Sports Center. I come regularly to play football. I have been noticing the unhygienic and bad conditions of the changing room. There are no proper lights.

Also the ventilation system is poor which creates an unwanted odour in the changing rooms. The number of changing rooms is only 4 which is not fulfilling the needs of everyone. There is a whole queue of players outside and changing rooms getting disappointed by the delay in matches. The team members and other players have to pay fees to go to changing rooms of other sports centres. We have a permanent membership for the sports centre and we pay every month. So it's our right to have all the facilities.

I would like to request to improve the ventilation and lighting system of the changing rooms. Also, increase the number of changing rooms from four to at least ten. There are heaps of dust in the changing rooms.I would like to suggest hiring two cleaners for the changing room. Which will clean the changing room after and before use. It will also maintain hygiene and prevent spread of infections.

I hope immediate action will be taken. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours Sincerely,
John

Band 7 IELTS Letter

Respected Sir,

I would like to draw your immediate attention towards the disappointing conditions of changing rooms of your Sports Centre. I am Mily, a permanent member of your Sports Centre. I come regularly to play basketball. My team is very disappointed by the poor conditions of the changing rooms and the difficulties we are facing. We have to wait for about one hour to change in a queue. It also delays our match and disrupts our timings.

As we pay every month for the membership, it is our right to have all the facilities. The number of changing rooms is only five. The unhygienic conditions of the washrooms can not be compromised. It raises a threat regarding the spread of communicable diseases and infections. There is no proper ventilation in the changing rooms which creates an unwanted odour.

We are facing a lot of difficulties. Instead of coming regularly, the team members are becoming irregular. Also, many of them avoid coming due to unavailability of changing rooms.

I would like to request you to put your immediate attention into this matter. I hope you would consider my request and would take immediate action. I would be very grateful to you. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yours Sincerely,
Mily
