Band 6 IELTS Letter

Respected Sir,

This is in response to your story about ATC & Co. Jack here, and I work as a media and broadcast manager in this company. I'm writing because a recent article you published on our company had a lot of false information. The top five manufacturers of children's toys were discussed in the article by Mr. Goldberg. In spite of the fact that the narrative said our profits decreased last year, they actually increased by 18.5%, I'd want to draw attention to this.

There is no doubt that this false information has hurt the reputation of our organisation. Furthermore, nothing about our foreign endeavours was addressed. It is imperative that we make the most of the possibilities of the international market, hence this detail should have been stated in the text. I believe the author accidentally and erroneously gave misleading information, which has harmed the reputation of our organisation. Please upload the article once more after making the necessary corrections, as I would like to recommend. If you could write the author as soon as you can, I'd really appreciate it. I've sent our most recent financial statement and ask that he reprint the article as soon as possible with correct information. I eagerly await your response.

Your sincerely,

Jack

Band 6.5 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to draw your notice to a critical inaccuracy that was included in a recent article regarding our company, XYZ Corporation.

The essay in issue was recently published in the Harvard Business Review magazine's emerging technologies section, September 2020 edition. It is widely considered one of the most reputable and well-liked business publications in the world. Harvard Business Review is a weekly publication of Harvard University Press.

Following are the specifics of the error. Several times in the article, it is stated unequivocally that our company's net operating income for the 2019 fiscal year was US$125 million. This fact, however, is untrue because the same period's net operating income was USD 500 million. This false information has the potential to negatively affect our company's reputation with investors and the price of its stock.

I would propose that you take prompt action to correct this false information about the financials of our organisation. I would appreciate it if you could send a message to the magazine's editor, sending our most recent financial report. And pleading with him to republish the piece as soon as possible with the accurate information. I appreciate your consideration in advance. I'm hoping to hear back from you shortly.

Sincerely,
Jane

Band 7 IELTS Letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

I work in the company's Public Relations division, Florabay Pvt. Ltd. This letter is intended to bring your notice to some mistakes that were recently published in an article on our company in a business magazine.

I read "Corporate Times" frequently. The editorial to which I'm alluding appears in this month's edition. We are listed as the seventh-best company in India out of the top 15 according to the magazine's ranking of their CSR efforts.

They made a brief note of the period we were incorporated in the description. The date of incorporation is mistakenly recorded as February 19, 1980, rather than the correct date of 1990. Second, some of the information on our charitable accomplishments is inaccurate. For our charity efforts in the state's drought-stricken districts, for instance, we were given the Golden Glory award rather than the Silver Shield. Additionally, I believe it would have been beneficial if they had indicated that our Prime Minister delivered the prize, which they haven't done.

Along with the information they have provided, there are a great deal of other pertinent factors that should have been mentioned. Please allow me to get in touch with them so I can verify this. I'd also like to recommend that they include a correction note about these errors in the issue that comes out the following month.

Please provide feedback on the best line of action.

Sincerely,
Nate
