A Letter To College Magazine About Need To Improve College Cafeteria IELTS General Writing Task 1 follows a formal approach. It contains three model answers that have three paragraphs namely the introduction, body, and conclusion. The letter must be clear and to the point.

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am Shreya, a student of your college. I generally eat at the college cafeteria at lunch time. However, I like our cafeteria. I like the menu it offers. Vegetarian as well as non vegetarian food is available. It is also affordable by all. But there are few improvements I would like to recommend.

The cafeteria space is limited and there are no extra seats available to sit. During lunch time, most of the seats get filled and there is no space left. The space for the cafeteria should be increased a little. Also, the food offered is not fresh. Sometimes, it smells. So I would like to suggest improving the quality of the food in the cafeteria. Few of my friends faced food poisoning due to the same. So it is a threat to our health. The cleaner of the cafeteria is not taking proper care. They are not fulfilling their duties. Many of the times the cafeteria is so dirty that we are unable to sit there and eat. It would be great if the hygiene would be maintained. Especially food is prepared there so it is important to maintain hygiene.

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am currently pursuing master's in clinical psychology at Lovely Professional University. I eat lunch at the cafeteria every day. I am writing this letter to recommend a few improvements related to the quality of food offered at Cafeteria. The poor conditions of the cafeteria in terms of cleanliness.

Lately,I have been noticing that the cafeteria was clean. The main reason is the temporary shutdown of the on-campus food court. Due to this, the number of students increased and it created a rush in the college cafeteria. However, since the cleaning staff is limited, the cafeteria is quite messy. Moreover, the food is of poor quality. Many students have faced health issues due to food. I have faced food poisoning too. The curry is overcooked and many dishes don't have the taste they should.

In my perspective, these issues can be addressed by hiring staff. Staff for maintaining cleanliness in the cafeteria. Staff for cooking food should be trained and must maintain hygiene while cooking. These issues need your immediate attention. And the on-campus food court must be opened as soon as possible.

I am Nandini, a student of your college. I eat lunch at the cafeteria every day. I am writing this letter to bring your attention to some issues regarding the cafeteria. Though I like the college cafeteria. It is quite open and there is plenty. But the food offered in the cafeteria is not up to the mark.

The food is of poor quality and the cooks are not maintaining proper hygiene. We often found hairs in the food. It is a wastage of money if we are not getting clean and tasty food. Also, the menu doesn't offer vegetarian food. In the vegetarian session only sambhar is offered. I would like to request you to please increase the number of vegetarian food items.

Also, the proper cleaning is not done. There is an unwanted odour in the cafeteria. The cleaning staff for the cafeteria doesn't pay attention to the cleanliness. They also ignore our remarks made about the cafeteria.

I would like to request you to please instruct the cleaning staff strictly. Also, instruct the cook to maintain proper hygiene. This matter requires your immediate attention. I hope this matter will be resolved soon.
