Letter to a Friend Regarding a Job in a Local Company IELTS General Writing Task 1 is a letter writing topic. The letter follows a semi- formal approach. The candidate has to address it to a friend and tell them about the job and what sort of work it involves. Candidates can also mention the reason why they think it will be a suitable job for their friend and process of application. It contains three model answers that have three paragraphs namely the introduction, body, and conclusion. The letter must be clear and to the point.
