NTA released the NEET UG Result 2024 yesterday (4th June 2024) and with the release of the result a significant rise in NEET 2024 cutoff has been observed in all categories. NEET Cut Off 2024 for the general category jumped from 720-137 to 720-164. Last year, the NEET UG Cutoff for reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates was 136-107 and this year it is 163-129. Furthermore, a record 67 students shared the Air 1 rank and their percentile is 99.997129.
AIIMS Delhi Seat Matrix : There are a total of 132 seats available for MBBS candidates. However, among 132 only 46 seats (3 Seats for Open-PWD) are for open category candidates and this year 67 students scored rank 1. Apart from that, 32 seats are for OBC candidates, 9 for ST, 18 for SC, 11 for Gen-EWS, 1 for SC-PwD, 1 for Gen-EWS PwD and 2 for OBC PWD.
Category Wise NEET 2024 Cutoff Comparison: NEET 2024 Cutoff for OBC-PH Candidates has been increased too. Last year the cutoff for OBC-PH was 120-107 and this year it rose to 145-129. This year, NEET UG Cutoff percentile for general category candidates is 50th while OBC, SC and ST cutoff percentile is 40th.
This significant increase in NEET 2024 cutoff may affect the NEET Counselling 2024 process which is going to start from 1st July, 2024. Based on their NEET UG 2024 Result all the qualified candidates will be called in the counselling. NEET UG 2024 cutoff in Top MBBS colleges in India will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks. This year a record-breaking number of students topped the NEET 2024 Examination. As per NTA data this year, 24,06,079 students registered for NEET 2024 and 23,33,297 students appeared in the examination. It indicates a 16.85 % rise in the total number of candidates. Among them, 13,16,268 students including 10 transgender students qualified for the examination.
