The National Testing Agency conducted the NEET UG 2024 on 5th May 2024 which witnessed 24 lakh applicants taking the test. 13,16,268 students qualified the test with all eyes now on the NEET Cut-off 2024 notification officially published on 5th June. According to the data shared by the Union Health Ministry, 5,125 MBBS seats will be available in the Maharashtra Government Medical College, while 5,720 seats are expected for admission to the state's privately owned medical colleges.

While the total number of MBBS seats available in India stands at 1,08,940, Maharashtra’s contribution stands at 10,845 seats in 32 government and 36 private medical colleges it has. Tamil Nadu will be contributing the highest number of MBBS seats, making Maharashtra the second-highest contributor.

Maharashtra State Medical Counselling Committee will commence the state NEET counselling process for all eligible candidates seeking admission to UG Medical courses like MBBA, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, and others.

NEET 2024 Cutoff for Government Medical Colleges
