WBJEE Passing Marks 2025: Check Category Wise WBJEE Opening and Closing Rank (2024-2020)

WBJEE Passing Marks 2025 is the minimum score that candidates should obtain to qualify WBJEE Examination 2025. West Bengal Joint Entrance Board (WBJEEB) will release the WBJEE Passing Mark 2025 in the opening and closing form. The closing rank of each WBJEE college refers to the minimum WBJEE Passing Marks 2025. This WBJEE Passing Mark 2025 is different across categories.

  • Candidates belonging to the general category must secure at least a 45% score in Class 12 or equivalent from a State or Central recognised board in three compulsory subjects ( Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).
  • Reserved category candidates should obtain a minimum 40% mark in class 12 from a recognised board in the science stream with a PCM combination.

Students must remember that WBJEE Passing Marks fluctuate every year as admission authorities of each college determine the WBJEE Passing Marks in 2025. However, 120+ Score is considered a decent score for WBJEE candidates.

WBJEE 2025 Expected Passing Marks

WBJEE passing marks are prescribed by each college for different courses and categories. As per the passing marks for WBJEE, students belonging to the general category must score a minimum of 60% marks to pass the WBJEE 2025 examination. WBJEE Passing Marks 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Besides having 45% (General) and 40% (Reserved) aggregate in PCM combination, Candidates need to obtain 30% marks in English. Other than that, each college has different WBJEE Passing Marks 2025 eligibility criteria. For example, Jadavpur University sets criteria where unreserved candidates need to achieve at least 60% marks in compulsory three subjects while reserved candidates need to obtain 45%. Along with that 30% marks in English is mandatory for both categories who seek admission to Jadavpur University through WBJEE.

WBJEE 2025 Answer Key

WBJEEB published the image of WBJEE OMR sheets and Response sheet on its official website wbjeeb.nic.in on 22nd May. Candidates can download their response sheet using their application number and password. You can also refer to WBJEE Answer Key 2025 for further information.

WBJEE Result 2025

The exam officials will release the WBJEE Result 2025 on 26th May (Tentative) at wbjeeb.nic. The result will be available for the candidates in the form of a scorecard. WBJEE Result 2025 will include the obtained score and rank of the candidates. Based on their WBJEE Result 2025 candidates will be considered eligible for WBJEE Counselling 2025.

WBJEE Counselling 2025

WBJEE Passing Marks 2025 will determine who is eligible for WBJEE Counselling 2025. The counselling for WBJEE 2025 will be based on the candidates’ rank in WBJEE or JEE. Moreover for B. Arch Admission NATA 2025 score will be granted by the admission authority. Candidates' GMR or PMR rank will be considered during WBJEE Counselling 2025.

WBJEE Counselling 2025 is likely to take place around 3d week of July. However, there is no official notification from the exam authority yet. Once the result is out, the counselling notification will be made available online for the candidates.

WBJEE Counselling 2023

Last year the notification for WBJEE Counselling 2023 was released on 20th July. From registration to choice filling, candidates got a total of 5 days time (20th July -25th July) to complete the process.

This year the process for WBJEE Counselling 2025 will follow the same method.

WBJEE Passing Marks 2025 is the qualifying marks that are released by the admission authority, after the release of results.
